It should be carried out in the order of early history, from Zheng Chenggong's recovery of Taiwan, the Qing Dynasty's governance, the Japanese occupation era, Taiwan's restoration, and then to the Taiwan region after the founding of New China. Now the DPP authorities are demanding that various historical events be broken up and arranged into themes, such as social development, national culture, and international interaction.
Moreover, the reason for this return is extremely vague and absurd: the editorial committee believes that the current content is far from the spirit of the syllabus, and requires the textbook to place the history of Taiwan, the mainland, Japan, and South Korea in the context of East Asian history. Although it is not explicitly specified, anyone with a discerning eye can see that the DPP authorities' move is to carry out "de-Sinicization" in textbooks. There is no consideration given to whether it is timely to return the reorganization and whether pupils can learn to understand this format.
This is not the first time that the DPP authorities have engaged in "poisoned teaching materials"; three years ago, the history textbooks of junior high and high schools in Taiwan have been changed beyond recognition, and now the DPP authorities are extending their claws into primary schools; In addition, the civil service examination in Taiwan has also abolished official documents, and the intention is extremely sinister.

The impact of this kind of teaching materials compiled by breaking conventional cognitive laws and distorting historical facts on education and development in Taiwan can be imagined.
The "poisonous teaching materials" compiled in accordance with the requirements of the DPP authorities will lead to the confusion of the foundation of primary school students in Taiwan at the beginning, and will be passed down from generation to generation, and the future Taiwan people will become less and less aware of Taiwan's true history, let alone find their own identity and roots. At the same time, obscuring the history of the Taiwan region in space and time will make the Taiwanese people's perception of the whole world seriously misaligned, which is really stupid and bad!
Now the DPP authorities are no longer satisfied with simply verbally advocating "Taiwan independence" and have begun to make a comprehensive layout in culture, education, and even language. In addition to the "poisonous teaching materials," it is even necessary to change Hokkien to "Taiwanese and Taiwanese" and completely "decouple" from the mainland.
Education is the foundation of a region's development and must not be shaken. If the DPP authorities really use their power to revise primary school textbooks, the consequences will be unimaginable.
