Evan was a child of a single-parent family whose father suffered from some sort of mental illness and later died in a psychiatric hospital.
Fortunately, Evan's mother is very strong and gradually has her own career from the bottom. Evan's life is still going well, he is a college student handsome guy, but he has the same amnesia as his father.

Actually, Evan didn't write a diary.
8. When he was a college student, Evan once went to tell fortunes with his mother, and the fortune teller said that Evan had no lifeline, was a soulless person, and should not be born. The mother also told him that she had had 2 miscarriages before leaving Evan behind.
The above is Evan's real memory, just because it was too bad, it was forgotten by Evan as a choice.
These memories lead to a lot of tragic things:
Girlfriend Kathy: Sexually abused by her father as a child, and witnessed by her boyfriend Evan, she was devastated, and then made a living as a waiter. After being asked by the amnesiac Evan about the details of filming child pornography, the adult Casey committed suicide.

First crossing
Evan returns to the cellar where Casey's father filmed child pornography.

Evan believes that this crossing was a failure, using a ruse to kill 2 prisoners, and then performing a second crossing.
Second crossing
Evan returns to the dump where the puppy was burned and tells Fat Lenny to summon up the courage to knock down Tommy and not let him burn the puppy to death.
Meanwhile, Evan tells Casey to fight Tommy to save the puppy.
During the fight, Evan and Casey are knocked down by Tommy, and Casey suffers a face injury as a result.
At this time, Tommy saw that her sister's face was covered with blood, and her conscience found that she took the initiative to release the puppy.
Unexpectedly, the little fat Lenny who was instigated by Evan suddenly appeared and smashed Tommy to death with an iron rod.
As a result, although the puppy was fine, Lenny was taken away and imprisoned in a mental hospital for life.

Third crossing

Evan choked his mother's umbilical cord and allowed himself to die.

The butterfly effect actually tells us a truth, history cannot be changed. Instead of trying to change history, it is better to cherish the people around you and change the future.
