Physical control of tea plant insect pests

Physical control is a clean, safe and effective means of plant protection, which has a certain control effect on the number of pests and insects in tea gardens, and has been applied to the field control of various field crops and cash crops. Its main means are light booby-trapping, color plate booby-trapping, artificial hunting, food booby-trapping, sexual pheromone booby-trapping, radiation sterility and other means.

Light booby-trapping. The use of adult insects' phototropism, the tea garden pests booby trap, which has a good control effect on tea plant pests, is currently commonly used for solar frequency vibration insecticidal lamps. It has an excellent booby-trapping effect on adult lepidoptera such as tea inchworm and adult winged insects such as prosthetic leafhoppers. Studies have shown that there is a certain difference in the number of pests in tea gardens and non-booby-trap tea gardens that use frequency vibration insecticidal lamps, and the control effect reaches 81.4%. Therefore, the promotion of the use of insecticidal lamps to trap insects in tea gardens not only has obvious booby-trap effect, but also can reduce or avoid the occurrence of incidents such as environmental pollution, killing natural enemies, resistance of pests, drug residues and human and animal poisoning caused by the use of chemical pesticides, which is worthy of application and promotion in major tea areas. In addition, statistical analysis of the types and numbers of insect traps is also an important means of pest prediction. The installation density of insect trap lamps in the field, an average of 20-30 acres of land installation of 1 lamp, mountain tea garden generally within a field of view of 1 lamp.

Swatch booby traps. The use of pests to booby trap different colors of the partiality, such as the prosthetic eye small green leafhopper, tea aphid to yellow, tea yellow thrips to blue, etc. have a strong tendency. Combined with the application of the corresponding sex pheromones on the color board, the booby-trap effect is significantly improved. Therefore, in the appropriate period, according to the type of insect infestation in the tea garden, the installation of the corresponding color plate has a good effect on controlling the number of insects in the tea garden, and is also one of the main measures for the prevention and control of pests in organic tea gardens. At the same time, the number of insect heads on the color plate is statistically analyzed, which can be used as an auxiliary means for the prediction and prediction of corresponding pests. The number of installed tea plantations in the swatch is generally 20-30 pieces per acre.

Sexual pheromone booby-traps. Sex pheromones are widely used in pest control, especially in the control of Lepidoptera pests, and compared with chemical control, sexual pheromone attractants have strong pertinence, high sensitivity, safety and non-toxicity, do not kill natural enemies, do not pollute the environment and so on. At present, the sexual pheromones used in Datian include tea caterpillar pheromones and tea inchworm pheromones. However, in the case of excessive density of insect mouths, the effect of sexual attractants will be limited, which is a common feature of sex pheromone control. Therefore, the control effect in the tea garden where pest outbreaks occur is not good, and it should be combined with other pollution-free control methods to ultimately achieve the purpose of reducing the density of insect populations.
