When the staff checked the list, they saw that the declared category of the package was "clothes", but when they opened the box to check the opening of the package, a pungent rotten smell hit the face, even with a mask can be smelled.
Turning over the clothes found that there were 66 sealed finger tubes hidden inside, which contained a large number of eggs, larvae, pupae and adult worms of the black-bellied fruit fly, and after statistics, it was found that there were more than 7,000 individuals of different forms, and finally according to the procedure, the package was harmlessly treated.

Although flies are more unhygienic and can even spread bacteria and diseases from the point of view of eating, they are much less harmful than fruit flies.

Wasn't the black-bellied fruit fly selected as a research material because of its strong reproductive ability and growth rate? Normally around 25 degrees Celsius, Drosophila black-bellied can lay about 400 eggs at a time, and their growth into adults is short, taking only about 10 days.
