It is reported that the exhibition lasted for 4 days and attracted delegations from more than 50 countries to participate in the exhibition. The China Pavilion is one of the largest national pavilions, including Aerospace Long March International Trade Co., Ltd., China Precision Machinery Import and Export Co., Ltd., China Aviation Technology Import and Export Co., Ltd., China Shipbuilding Industry Trading Co., Ltd., China North Industries Co., Ltd., CLP Technology International Trade Co., Ltd., China Electronics Industry Engineering Co., Ltd.
The China Pavilion exhibited a variety of high-end equipment such as Wing Loong series, rainbow series, WJ-700 and other UAVs, as well as integrated anti-drone systems, multi-functional unmanned aerial vehicles, Y-9E transport aircraft, LY-70 air defense system, VT-4 main battle tank, SR5 multiple launch rocket system, YLC-2E multi-functional radar, command information system, electronic warfare defense system, communication and navigation system, etc., attracting extensive attention from many participating professionals and media.
Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal attended the opening ceremony of the Defense Exhibition, visited the China exhibition area and listened to the briefing. Humayun Aziz, Permanent Secretary of Pakistan's Ministry of Defense Production, said in an interview with Xinhua News Agency that China's military equipment and technology are internationally renowned, and the defense cooperation between Pakistan and China is exemplary, and he looks forward to the two countries continuing to strengthen cooperation in the future.
China's State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense said that in recent years, the department has repeatedly organized "China's military industry" national pavilions to participate in international defense exhibitions in key overseas regions, aiming to promote international cooperation and exchanges in defense science and technology through the display of China's superior military industry equipment and defense technology, build a defense security community, and maintain regional peace and stability.
The Pakistan Defense Exhibition began in 2000 and has been held every two years since then, before being suspended in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Organized by the Pakistan Defense Export Promotion Organization and the Ministry of Defense Production, the exhibition has become an influential defense exhibition in Asia.
