Stop-and-go, clap and walk along, in the reserve encountered a large butterfly, probably due to the fat body, the butterfly flight speed is very busy, sometimes flying, sometimes staying in the flowers. Because the butterfly is beautiful, several photographers can be said to be patting at different angles. Through a search on the Internet, I learned that this butterfly may be a world-class rare butterfly - the broad-tailed phoenix butterfly.
Broad-tailed butterfly, also known as the "dream butterfly", black-winged vermilion tail, with white spots, rounded and smooth tail protrusions, narrow forewings, thin scales, is a precious large butterfly species, a rare butterfly special to China, like to visit flowers and suck honey.
Broad-tailed butterfly, discovered by the British in China in 1889, is a world-class rare butterfly species unique to China, there are only two species of this genus in the world, the broad-tailed butterfly living in the mainland region and the Taiwan wide-tailed butterfly found in Taiwan in 1932. Because they are the only butterfly in the world of more than 17,000 species of butterflies with two wing veins entering the caudal process, and their large and beautiful and rare bodies, they are regarded by international academics as a symbol of Chinese butterflies.
In 2000, the Chinese State Forestry Administration issued the "List of Terrestrial Wild Animals Protected by the State, Ortilian Wild Animals of The State Protection of the State", which is listed as a national protected species.
Jiangxi Wuyishan Nature Reserve (National) Nature Reserve is located in Leadshan County, Jiangxi Province, on the northwest slope of the northern section of the Wuyi Mountains. There are 418 species of vertebrates, 77 species of mammals of 8 orders and 25 families, 25 species of amphibians of 2 orders and 8 families, 57 species of reptiles of 3 orders and 9 families, and 36 species of fish of 3 orders and 9 families. Insects have been identified in 15 orders, 127 families and 1329 species. There are 2829 species of higher plants. In addition, 61 species of macromycetes of 22 families were identified. In the reserve, 9 new species of neoplasmic macrophylla, Wuyi Man Bug, Wuyi True Mite, Wuyi Mountain Heather, Wuyi Mountain Barberry, Wuyi Mountain QianliGuang, Wuyi Mountain Hanging Hook, Lead Mountain Hanging Hook, Chinese Straight Puppy Moss and Wuyi Mountain Flower Catalpa Tree, Wuyi Mountain Hollow Bubble and Thornless Hollow Bubble were found successively.
