On November 12, 2022, the Uzbekistan Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce successfully held the Chamber of Commerce renewal meeting and the first general meeting of the second session, the conference added China State Construction Group Co., Ltd. as the vice president unit of the Chamber of Commerce, Chang'an (Xi'an) International Trade Co., Ltd. and Uzbekistan Kingsoft Company as the governing units, Hunan Spall New Energy Co., Ltd., Beijian New Materials Central Asia Foreign Investment Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Sward Elevator Co., Ltd., Kerry Chase Logistics Co., Ltd. as member units. CNPC International Uzbekistan Company, China Petroleum Engineering Construction Co., Ltd., China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau Engineering Co., Ltd., PetroChina Great Wall Drilling Engineering Co., Ltd., China Huanqiu Engineering Co., Ltd., and China Construction Steel Engineering Co., Ltd. are candidates for membership. The conference was chaired by Liu Yu, Executive President of the Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan.

At the meeting, Zhang Junwu, representative of the first president unit of the Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan, made a work report, financial audit report and departure report since the establishment of the Chamber of Commerce three years ago.

Chairman Zhang said: Since its establishment, the Chamber of Commerce has continuously played the role of a bridge, promoted cooperation and interaction between Uzbekistan and Chinese enterprises, and actively served China-Ukraine economic and trade cooperation, which has been highly recognized by the Chinese and Ukrainian governments. It is hoped that everyone will continue to support the construction of the Chamber of Commerce, with a high sense of responsibility and dedication, adhering to the purpose of the Chamber of Commerce, relying on the wisdom and strength of all members of the Chamber of Commerce, down-to-earth, always adhere to serving Chinese enterprises, conscientiously fulfilling their responsibilities, and strive to create a new situation in the work of the Chamber of Commerce, hoping that all members will work together and unite as one, so that the Chamber of Commerce will become the home of "unity, warmth, vitality and harmony" of Chinese enterprises, and make greater contributions to the high-quality and leapfrog development of the economy and society of China and Ukraine.
Entrusted by the Council of the Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan, the audit team began to review the financial accounts, cash flow, various bills and contracts and other relevant materials of the Chamber of Commerce from July 2019 to June 2022 in August 2022, with the aim of truly reflecting the various income and expenses of the Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan during the audit period. Since its establishment three years ago, the Chamber of Commerce has had clear financial revenue and expenditure accounts and strict management, which has lived up to the trust of member enterprises, and hopes to further implement the relevant requirements of the Council Meeting, improve the internal management procedures of the Chamber of Commerce, and further improve the quality and content of the service work of the Chamber of Commerce. At the same time, member enterprises are welcome to review, review and supervise all income and expenditure accounts announced by the Chamber of Commerce since its establishment three years ago. Finally, President Zhang hopes that all member units can fulfill their commitment to join, abide by the articles of association of the chamber of commerce, fulfill their membership obligations while enjoying the rights and interests of the chamber of commerce, actively participate in various activities organized by the chamber of commerce, maintain close contact with the chamber of commerce, strengthen information communication, and contribute to the economic and trade development and people-to-people exchanges between China and Ukraine."

Cui Haibo said: I am very grateful to all member units for their trust and elected PetroChina Central Asia Natural Gas Pipeline Co., Ltd. as the new president unit of the Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan. Since its establishment in 2019, under the strong leadership of Chairman Zhang Junwu and Executive Chairman Liu Yu, and with the strong support and joint efforts of all member enterprises, the Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan has scientifically planned and actively explored the practical path of forming a stable industrial chain, supply chain and improving people's livelihood, and has yielded fruitful results in cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, investment, energy, transportation, agriculture, and medical care, vividly interpreting the rich connotation of the China-Ukraine comprehensive strategic partnership. At the same time, all member enterprises have also made remarkable achievements in their respective fields, and have handed over an excellent answer sheet in the fields of building Sino-Ukrainian friendship and promoting humanities, education, scientific and technological exchanges between China and Ukraine, and also laid a solid foundation for the basic management of the Chamber of Commerce. These achievements are due to the correct leadership of the Economic and Commercial Department of the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan, the hard work of the comrades of the secretariat of the Chamber of Commerce led by Chairman Zhang Junwu and Executive Chairman Liu Yu, and the joint efforts of all member units.

Under the strong leadership of the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine, the Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan will fully implement the Embassy's ardent hopes and important requirements for the new leadership team of the Chamber of Commerce, base itself on the new development stage, implement the new development concept, build a new development pattern, promote mutual benefit and win-win results, tell China's story well, firmly grasp the historical opportunity of the "Belt and Road" construction, implement the important consensus reached by the heads of state of China and Ukraine in various fields during President Xi Jinping's visit to Uzbekistan, and actively implement the "Belt and Road" initiative New Uzbekistan "2022-2026 development strategy docking, to achieve the vision and goal of "continuing the traditional friendship between China and Ukraine, deepening cooperation in the construction of the "Belt and Road", and building a community with a shared future between China and Ukraine"!

In order to better establish the development foundation of various industries, help domestic enterprises in Ukraine to do a good job in landing planning and risk control management, and implement the "Belt and Road" work, the General Assembly deliberated on the proposal of China Building Materials Tashkent Construction and Installation Engineering Co., Ltd. to establish the Building Materials Association of the Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan, and the initiative was unanimously approved by the General Assembly.
Tian Kaiming, deputy general manager of China National Building Materials representative, said: 2022 is the first year of the new five-year development strategy of Wuzi, according to the "2022-2026 New Uzbekistan Development Strategy" announced at the beginning of the year, the next five years will be the peak period of large-scale project construction in Wuzi, bringing huge development opportunities to mainland international engineering contracting enterprises. The vigorous rise of the construction industry has driven the development prospects of the building materials industry, building materials are the basic materials to ensure the economic construction of Wuzi, the building materials industry is an important industry to ensure the smooth operation and rapid development of the national economy, and building materials products are important materials to ensure the smooth progress of project construction. Whether we can provide high-quality building materials products with environmental protection, energy saving and high technology content for many engineering enterprises of construction projects in Ukraine, so that our Chinese construction enterprises occupy a larger market share in Ukraine, is both an opportunity and a challenge for our building materials industry.
The establishment of the Building Materials Association of the Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan is of great significance for enhancing the "soft power" and "cohesion" of Chinese-funded building materials enterprises in Ukraine, realizing resource sharing, complementing each other's advantages, and improving the competitiveness and economic benefits of enterprises. The association will formulate a development plan on an annual basis, promote communication, exchange and cooperation between the association and enterprises, and between the association and the government, so that member enterprises can use the platform of the association to seek better and faster development in Ukraine.

In 2022, the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Republic of Uzbekistan, the SCO Summit was successfully held in Uzbekistan, in this historic year, the Chamber of Commerce gave full play to its own advantages, went all out, actively cooperated with the Embassy in Ukraine and the Ukrainian government department to carry out a series of themed activities, gave full play to the role of the Chamber of Commerce as an information exchange platform, completed multi-party relationship coordination and linkage and mutual assistance, and did a lot of pragmatic work to deepen the friendly relations between China and Ukraine and promote the construction of the "Belt and Road".
With 2023 coming, the Chamber of Commerce will continue to follow the member-centered, service reflects value, and unites Chinese enterprises in Ukraine as the main work goal to enhance the influence of the Chamber of Commerce.
More importantly, continue to make efforts to strengthen the role of services, improve learning exchanges, expand publicity, etc., promote the professional construction of chambers of commerce, and build overseas brand chambers of commerce; Guide more Chinese-funded enterprises to join the Chamber of Commerce, continue to improve the infrastructure of the Chamber of Commerce, optimize the communication channels and communication methods between members of the Chamber of Commerce, further improve the efficiency of information sharing, and basically achieve effective communication and effective interaction. At the same time, we will strengthen cooperation and exchanges with government departments and other social organizations of China and Ukraine, and establish and win a good social reputation and appeal with strength. Strengthen horizontal exchanges and mutual learning, hold seminars and thematic forums according to different industry categories around the construction of chambers of commerce and hot topics, interpret the latest policy development information according to the economic development situation, discuss the development path of high-quality chambers of commerce, share the views of chambers of commerce, and transmit the wisdom of chambers of commerce. The first is to focus on practical innovation and improve work efficiency. Serving member enterprises is the main task of the Chamber of Commerce, and it is also the starting point of the work of the Chamber of Commerce, actively solving problems for member enterprises and doing more practical things. Second, in the face of the diversified development of member enterprises, the Chamber of Commerce shoulders the important task of connecting and guiding the healthy growth of member enterprises, so the Chamber of Commerce will strengthen its own organizational construction, so that the Chamber of Commerce can continue to improve its ability to communicate and serve members. The third is to innovate the service carrier and unite the joint efforts of all parties. Give full play to the advantages of the coordination service platform of the Chamber of Commerce, strengthen and optimize the information sharing channels among member enterprises; Integrate the resources of the delegation to Ukraine and set up an investment expert committee. It is believed that with the support of the new president unit, with the cooperation of all member units, and under the guidance of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine, new and better achievements will be created. The Secretariat will seek truth from facts, keep pace with the times, pioneer and innovate, strive to create a new situation in the work of the Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan, and promote the cooperation between China and Ukraine to a new level.
