Crispy big-headed frog
The mountain streams and ditches in hainan parrot ridge national nature reserve are feathery distribution, which is the birthplace of the two major rivers in Hainan, Henan Dujiang and Changhua Rivers. The region's diverse habitats and abundance of freshwater fish make it a "fish treasure trove". In the Parrot Ridge Nature Reserve, the film crew photographed yellow eels, brook crabs, crispy big-headed frogs, Qiongzhong loach, rainbow light lip fish, etc., all of which are native aquatic organisms in Hainan.
Fish swim around
Shooting underwater is extremely difficult. "The stream is not deep, but the current is very fast, the fish swim very fast, and it is difficult to fix the camera position to capture a clear picture." Mi Hongxu, a member of the film crew of "Secret Pursuit", said that due to the large amount of sediment under the water, if you step directly into it, not only will the sediment at the bottom be lifted, the water quality become turbid, and the fish will also be frightened and unable to shoot the picture. "Every time we went, we passed a stream, and the first two shots were almost always out of focus or muddy." After many attempts, Mi Hongxu and the film crew could only use the method of snorkeling, snorkeling from the shore to the water at a distance of nearly 4 meters. During the shooting, in order to capture a stable picture, the film crew could only use two arms to fix the machine and fight against the current.
Qiongzhong quasi-flat loach
"People don't pay much attention to underwater creatures, and through this film we can see the living conditions of freshwater underwater creatures native to Hainan." Mi Hongxu said that according to the scientific research data of the Parrot Ridge Nature Reserve, the reserve has more than 70 species of freshwater fish, And Hainan's good ecological environment provides a suitable living environment for fish, and the ecological protection work allows the diversity of underwater organisms in Hainan to be reflected.
