The Qatar World Cup is 10 days away, and the countdown is now officially underway, with the top 32 teams announcing the rosters one after another. At present, 10 teams have been determined: Australia, Brazil, Croatia, Cameroon, Costa Rica, France, Japan, Switzerland, Wales and the United States. In addition, Denmark has identified 21 people and has 5 more to be added.
A flying turban, the mascot is coming
According to the rules, each team must determine a minimum of 23 players and a maximum of 26 players can be selected. Three of the players must be goalkeepers. So France, confident of it, brought only 25 people.
This is the first time that the World Cup has been expanded to 26 players, compared with 23 in the previous five editions, presumably in reference to last year's European Championship.
I hope that the mention of army expansion will not refer to the European Cup, look at the expansion of the European Championship from 16 to 24, the gold content of the group stage can be directly ignored. If the World Cup is expanded to 48, there will be no pressure in the qualifiers.
The deadline to submit the squad list to FIFA is November 14, and FIFA will officially announce all squad rosters on November 15.
There is also an important rule that FIFA has approved the replacement of injured players 24 hours before a team's first match.
