Design philosophy:

to balance art and architecture with the personal characteristics of each client.

Valeriya Moskaleva is a young designer from Russia. The Valeriya Moskaleva design studio she founded focuses on private residences. Her design philosophy is to balance art and architecture with the individual characteristics of each client.

Valeriya Moskaleva was born into a family of designers, she is the third generation of professional interior designers in her family, with a good higher art education, and she has a very high appearance. Her innate talent for beauty imbues her designs with a high-class aesthetic and elegant temperament.

"It's hard for me to determine the style of the interior, we don't follow any rules, we just design and decorate the house to cater to the homeowner, regardless of fashion trends. That's why it's an intimate and exclusive space. Moskaleva said.

| minimum partition Maximum light

Valeriya Moskaleva transformed Moscow's 1,227-square-foot home into an open-air arena with "minimum partition, maximum light." The final design combines two one-bedroom apartments with a very bold design idea.

The interior pays attention to the contrast of colors and materials. Rough concrete ceilings and exposed wires walls are offset by velvet curtains, crystal chandeliers, baroque armchairs, pink fur pillows, and ornate consoles and mirrors.

This is evident from the entrance, where a standard corridor is seen separated by Moskaleva's custom-designed metal shelves. It houses the homeowner's collection of porcelain, including Little Red Riding Hood in the 50s of the 20th century and the Gray Wolf at WKC. The living room is furnished with furniture by Jimmie Martin, vintage framed portraits and custom crystal chandeliers.

The focal point of the main living area is the grand piano, usually played by the homeowner. Opposite is the kitchen and dining area.

There is an onyx dining table, a Scavolini Diesel kitchen and a custom fireplace.

British designer duo Jimmie Martin's furniture leans against the gray concrete wall of the living room. The crystal chandeliers seen in this space are custom-made. The bespoke lighting takes the shape of the famous "Maria Theresia" era and is complemented by coloured crystal inlays.

Moskaleva placed a fireplace on the column closest to the restaurant! On long winter nights, this will be one of the most comfortable places in an open plan house.

A movable mirror mosaic screen separates the bedroom from the bathroom, which looks out into the secluded forest. The concrete palette continues to appear in the dressing area and is offset by pink and purple pops.

Since homeowners like to replace wood with metal, most of the décor is made of concrete, glass, and untreated brass, which looks vibrant and stately.

Moskaleva found a good match kitchen at Scavolini Diesel, saying, "The client wanted an antique kitchen that rivaled her grandmother's. ”。 She adds, "The brand has a glass panel and steel countertops. This simple design is ideal. ”

| bright apartment of 64 sqm

Moskaleva designed a bright home for the young couple. The project is based on urban style, modern painting and maritime themes. This apartment is located on the fifth floor on the north side of the building, so it is a bit dark at any time of the day. Because of the small area, the designer pays great attention to the storage system - two bathrooms, a bedroom and a hallway have spacious cabinets.

"We've known the client for a long time and this is their second project. The client gives me complete freedom to choose materials and color palettes, which is very important for designers. Their main desire for interiors is convenient storage systems, durability and high-quality materials, as well as the ability to work with a variety of lighting scenes. The hosts are a sports family and very much enjoy hosting guests. Bikes, skis, skates are in this new apartment. At first the colors in the interior were monochrome, but when the hostess thought, 'Am I going to be bored?' 'Colors were added to the project and the result made everyone happy. Moskaleva said.

The entire interior of the apartment is based on color-neutral floors and walls, making it easy to accept any decorative content. If the occupants wish, they can change the textile decoration to create a new impression of the home.
