The attraction of the Expo has made many European royal jewels and even national treasures cross the ocean to "show their faces".

The Paper (www.thepaper.cn) reporter learned from the Expo Bureau and exhibitors on the 30th that V MUSE, a new fine jewelry brand located in the consumer goods exhibition area of the 5th CIIE, will bring its TREASURE series to the Expo for the first time, and the 22 pieces of jewelry on display this time span 400 years of history.

The oldest of these is a Renaissance pendant made by German court craftsmen around 1600, made of gold and diamonds. Before the discovery of the first diamond in South African history, Eureka, in 1867, diamonds came from Brazil and India in small quantities, making them the most expensive item in the world at the time. This ancient pendant is made of high-quality diamonds, with meticulously carved gold craftsmanship, and then applied with colorful enamel, showing superb artistic achievements, and even more rare is that it has been perfectly preserved to this day, becoming one of the oldest exhibits at the Expo.

Three emerald gems are also eye-catching. One of the emerald crowns, once inherited from the German royal family, together with five other crowns from the French, Spanish, Danish and Austrian royal families, will make the exhibition halls of the Expo shine.

Another 200-carat emerald gemstone, from the ancient Mughal Empire of India, was designed as a brooch in the early 20th century by Coco Chanel's fiancé, the ghost artist Paul Iribe, and is a landmark piece in jewelry art. There is also a Colombian emerald weighing 65 carats, carved into the mysterious face of Medusa, known as the "Mona Lisa of gemstones".

The Paper learned from V MUSE that the most important thing in the exhibits at the Expo is the French national treasure "Golden Leaf", which comes from the golden laurel crown of Napoleon I, which is famous for wearing Napoleon when he was crowned emperor in 1804. As the crown of the founding emperor of the French Bonaparte dynasty, the "golden leaf" is extremely exquisitely crafted, and each lifelike pure gold leaf is as light as a feather, stretched like a plant, and its texture is intricate and delicate like hair.

V MUSE co-founder Fan Xiaoguang revealed that only two "golden leaves" are known to have been handed down, one hidden in the Fontainebleau Palace in France, and the other will appear at this Expo, allowing the audience to witness history with their own eyes.

Also not to be missed during this trip to the Expo is a 34-carat world's largest portrait diamond, which witnessed the love of Tsar Alexander I. Another 31-carat sapphire is the same brooch of former Queen Elizabeth II, which was a wedding gift for the Archduchess of Austria a hundred years ago. There is also a mysterious Golden Fleece medallion, made of diamonds, rubies and sapphires.

Fan Xiaoguang said that V MUSE has long hoped to participate in the Expo, and has been planning and preparing for this, and the most direct driving force comes from the attraction of the Expo itself.

"For exhibitors, CIIE allows us to reflect our own value and gives us the opportunity to convey our corporate culture and vision. China's domestic jewelry market is full of great opportunities, with the advancement of Chinese-style modernization, the people's yearning for a better life will continue to be realized, and the people's living standards will continue to improve, which will inevitably be reflected in social needs and market demand including consumer goods and jewelry, "Fan Xiaoguang believes that from the perspective of volume, this is a trillion-level market; Culturally, gemstones have a slow life, and jewelry is a medium that exchanges information at all times, carries people's emotions, and shapes lifestyles.
