When the inspection and quarantine personnel unpacked the parcels handed over by the customs through the postal service, the shells emitted an unpleasant smell of rotten fish. The shells are of varying shapes, colorful, numbering about 20, unprocessed and harmless. Insects were found during the opening of the box for quarantine, and they were sent to the Technical Center of Guangxi Inspection and Quarantine Bureau for identification and confirmed as tobacco A. Through contacting the recipient, the inspection and quarantine staff learned that the recipient was a shell collection enthusiast, and the batch of shells was started from the Internet to meet their own collection wishes. Shells are aquatic animal products that are prohibited from being mailed into the country, and according to the provisions of the "Directory of Animals and Plants and Their Products Prohibited from Being Carried and Mailed by the People's Republic of China", it is forbidden to bring aquatic animal products into the country, and the inspection and quarantine personnel detain the parcel according to law.
