Steve Jobs (1955-2011), American inventor, entrepreneur, co-founder and CEO of Apple.
Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 in San Francisco, USA, his birth mother was a young unmarried graduate student, because she could not take care of her children while studying, she decided to give Jobs to someone else for adoption.
In this way, Jobs was adopted as an infant by Paul Jobs, a mechanic for a laser company, and Clara Jobs, an accountant.
In 1972, Jobs graduated from high school in Los Altos, California, and attended Reed College in Portland, Oregon, where he dropped out after six months to concentrate on electronics.
In 1976, Jobs, along with Stephen Wozniak and Wayne, started Apple in the garage to build personal computers. Later, Wayne quit, and Jobs and Wozniak produced the first generation of "Apple computers". After that, Apple developed smoothly, and by 1984, the second generation of "Mackintosh" was born.
By 1985, Apple was well established, with 4,000 employees and a stock market capitalization of $2 billion. Jobs personally also went well, with fame and fortune. On October 5, 2011, Steve Jobs died of illness at the age of 56.
