However, the Duke does have a lot of insiders, scandals and secrets to draw on in his life, not to mention that he has to catch up with his family. This book is likely to become a remake of Gunpowder Conspiracy 2.0. The "timing" of the release should make the king particularly nervous.
The king had only been on the throne for a few months, and there simply wasn't enough public capital to easily fend off a frontal attack from his own son, if that's how the book ends.
Valentine, the Times' royal editor, also said the king had reason to be worried. He knew that Harry had met with a private person in London who advised him to be more lenient with his family, and Harry was less receptive to the idea.
There are reports that royal aides are plotting to block its release altogether.
