Of the 20 players who played for the Lakers last season and left this season, only three are still playing in the NBA:
Kings player Malik Monk
Jazz player Talen Horton-Tucker
Nuggets player DeAndre Jordan
The remaining 17 currently unemployed former Lakers players include:
Carmelo Anthony, Trevor Ariza, DJ Augustine, Kent Bazemore, Avery Bradley, Chandy Brown, Darren Collison, Sekou Dumbuya, Wayne Ellington, Dwight Howard, Jay Khufu, Stanley Johnson, Jermelio Jones, Mason Jones, Mark McClen, Rajon Rondo, Isaiah Thomas.
The only Lakers players who currently stay on the team last season are:
LeBron James,
Anthony Davis,
Russell Westbrook,
Austin Reeves,
Wenion Gabriel.
This shows how bad the Lakers' recruitment was last year! Purely picked up a bunch of broken copper and rotten iron that no one in the league cared about, and called it a giant team!
