Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, under the leadership of the Party Group of the All-China Women's Federation, the Women's Foundation has closely focused on poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, and the implementation of the "Program for the Development of Chinese Women", and continued to promote the upgrading and brand building of projects such as "Mother's Health Express", "Mother's Water Cellar", "Mother's Parcel" and "@She Entrepreneurship Plan", so as to promote the innovative development of women's public welfare and charity undertakings in mainland China.
In the past 10 years, the Women's Foundation has raised a total of 5.763 billion yuan (excluding the Central Special Lottery Community Chest), benefiting 70 million women across the country. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Women's Foundation has actively participated in the construction of ecological civilization, helped alleviate poverty and promoted rural revitalization.
In 2000, the All-China Women's Federation, the Beijing Municipal Government and CCTV jointly initiated the "Mother's Water Cellar" project. For more than 20 years, with the strong support of relevant government departments and the loving support of all walks of life, "Mother Water Cellar" has always taken "water" as the core, and has continuously explored the sustainable development space of water resources, from basic safe drinking water and environmental water to green agriculture and rural revitalization, paying attention to the gradual deepening of dimensions, actively cooperating with the national strategy, and serving the vast number of rural women and families.
Located in Nanchuan District, Chongqing, Fengchui Village is located on a mountain, with more wind and less water, and the water collected needs to be precipitated for a long time to separate the water from the sediment. Villagers rarely take a bath in summer, and in winter, they use sticks to cut the ice at the mouth of the well to fetch water, which is laborious and dangerous.
In 2018, the "Mother Water Cellar" centralized water supply project built by the China Women's Development Foundation in Fengchui Village was put into use, ending the suffering of 986 villagers in Fengchui Village, and villagers no longer had to walk for more than 10 minutes and queue up for a long time to fetch water.
Now, Liu Chaoming of Fengbu Village can drink clean water without leaving home. Loving beauty, she finally realized the freedom to shower after living half her life. And, because of the water, she and her husband also started a family farm, and life is prosperous.
In the past ten years, the "Mother Water Cellar" has built 13,300 rainwater collection cellars, 640 centralized water supply projects, 918 campus safe drinking water projects, and carried out green village construction in 20 administrative villages, helping 1.68 million people to obtain safe drinking water.

On July 12, 2003, the "Mother's Health Express" project was launched in Beijing's Tiananmen Square, with the "Mother's Health Express" as the carrier, relying on the medical expert team, going to villages, communities and schools, carrying out various forms of health services such as free diagnosis and consultation, health education, grassroots doctor training, picking up pregnant women and critically ill patients, etc., to create a "harmony" for women's health.
"When I saw the flashing warning lights of the 'Mother's Health Express', I burst into tears, I knew I was saved, I would not die." Yang Zhengmei of Bianhai Town, Kaili City, Guizhou Province, still has lingering feelings when she talked about the scene of childbirth and difficult childbirth. On that day in 2014, the "Mother's Health Express" hitched a ride on her, sounded the siren and rushed all the way to the hospital, and the doctor immediately performed a cesarean section for her, and the mother and baby were safe. "Today, when I see the 'Mother Health Express', I can't help but salute and choke up tears." Yang Zhengmei said.
In addition to being a "lifesaver" and "mother's car" for emergency rescue, the "Mother's Health Express" is also a "caring medical car" for physical examination and screening and a "mobile publicity vehicle" for disseminating health knowledge.
In the past ten years, focusing on promoting women's health, the Foundation has donated a total of 1,740 "Mother's Health Express" to underdeveloped areas in 30 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), each equipped with on-board medical equipment, with a total value of about 240 million yuan, and more than 36.16 million beneficiaries, which has played a unique role in reducing the incidence of gynecological diseases, maternal, infant and child mortality, cooperating with the state to implement the "two cancers" free screening project for rural women, winning decisive battles and consolidating poverty alleviation, comprehensively promoting rural revitalization, and improving women's quality of life.
Since 2011, under the leadership of the Party Group of the All-China Women's Federation, the Women's Foundation has begun to implement the "Two Cancers" Relief Project for Poor Rural Mothers supported by the Central Special Lottery Community Chest (renamed the "Two Cancers" Relief Project for Low-income Women since 2021), providing one-off financial assistance of 10,000 yuan per person to poor rural and low-income women suffering from cervical cancer and breast cancer.
In the past ten years, the Central Special Lottery Public Welfare Fund has invested a total of 2.146 billion yuan to help 213,200 poor and low-income women in rural areas. The relief fund of 10,000 yuan is not only material assistance, but also a psychological comfort for sick women, encouragement of life confidence, and conveys the party's care and warmth for women with special difficulties. According to third-party evaluations, the satisfaction of sick women with the "two cancers" relief program is as high as 98.62%. The 2020 Ministry of Finance Performance Evaluation Report pointed out that the implementation of the project has alleviated the medical and living pressure of women suffering from "two cancers", alleviated the family poverty of the sick women, and given them hope for treatment and life.

In 1996, in response to the national "Eight-Seven" poverty alleviation plan and the "Women's Poverty Alleviation Action" launched by the All-China Women's Federation, the Women's Foundation began to implement the "Mother's Entrepreneurship Revolving Fund Project" to help women in difficulty achieve employment and re-employment in the form of "small loans, household poverty alleviation and recycling".
In 2015, the "Mother's Entrepreneurship Revolving Fund Project" was upgraded to @She Entrepreneurship Program, and gradually established a market-oriented, enterprise-based industrial assistance and women's empowerment public welfare model, forming a chain of financial support, skills training, communication advocacy and market drainage, etc., to help women find employment and entrepreneurship, and achieve economic independence and sustainable development in an all-round way.
Zhang Cuiyan, a girl from Zhongwei City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, gave up the opportunity to stay in the city after graduating from university, choosing to return to her hometown to become a new type of professional farmer, determined to sell apples from her hometown to the city. Starting a business is difficult, she originally relied on the funding of the "Mother's Entrepreneurship Revolving Fund" to develop her newly established agricultural products company step by step, and also created a modern agricultural products trading venue.
"It's a gift in disguise!" Zhang Cuiyan still can't hide her excitement, "Without the 500,000 recycled gold at the beginning, I really dare not imagine that apples can be sold all over the country now." At present, her company has driven surrounding farmers to plant more than 10,000 acres of apples, benefiting more than 400 farmers and providing nearly 50 long-term jobs.
In the past ten years, the Women's Foundation has innovated and implemented projects such as "Genius Mother" and "Super Mother" based on empowering women, helping 239,000 women to start businesses and find jobs, and driving more than 510,000 people out of poverty and becoming rich.

On May 22, 2012, in order to thoroughly implement the strategic plan of the Party Central Committee on poverty alleviation and development, and to implement the relevant requirements of the "Outline for the Development of Chinese Women (2011-2020)" on helping women in difficulty, the All-China Women's Federation initiated and established the "Mother's Parcel" project implemented by the Women's Foundation was officially launched. Supported by the China Post Green Channel, the project delivers "mother's parcels" composed of daily necessities to women in need, opening up new channels for women's federations to do practical things for vulnerable women.
Sister Yan of Pingtan Village, Banan District, Chongqing City, suffers from epilepsy, the onset of which is unpredictable, and the family is in financial difficulties. But now all she thinks about every day is to earn more money for her daughter's education while she doesn't get sick. When the local women's federation delivered a "mother's mail bag" containing cotton vests, hats and a large number of daily necessities to her home, Sister Yan couldn't close her mouth with a smile, she said: "I haven't worn new clothes for many years, so warm."
In the past ten years, based on precise assistance, "Mother's Mail Bag" has continuously innovated and upgraded the content of care and assistance in response to the increasingly diverse needs of different groups of women in difficulty, and has successively developed a series of postal packages such as "Family Bag", "Maternity Bag", "Mother's Treasure Box", "Campus Safety Emergency Kit", "Family Health Care Package", "Hometown Concentric Package" and "Spring Warm Action Care Package", relying on women's federations at all levels to implement, the coverage has been expanded, and it has been warmly welcomed everywhere it goes.
The "Mother's Parcel" project has implemented a total of more than 207 million yuan, and distributed more than 1.1 million contracts to women and families in difficult circumstances in 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. The "Come on Mulan" project has provided medical and educational public welfare insurance for 3.08 million women in need, and has continued to play a role in filling the gaps in public welfare projects in consolidating the achievements of poverty alleviation.
Over the past decade, in response to earthquakes, floods, snow disasters, tornadoes, the fight against the new crown pneumonia epidemic and other disasters, the foundation has launched 59 emergency responses, raising a total of 638 million yuan in funds and materials. Among them, in order to meet the emergency needs of women and families in the epidemic areas, a total of 306 million yuan was raised to support the frontline anti-epidemic work. It is worth mentioning that in the rescue operations of flood disasters in many provinces and regions, the fight against natural disasters, and the rapid response to epidemic prevention and control, the "mother's mail bag" is the first choice for women's federations at all levels to organize condolences and help the masses of women, bringing peace of mind and confidence to the affected women.

Promote the construction of family teaching style
In order to implement the important exposition on paying attention to the construction of family tutoring and family style, and help consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation and effectively connect with rural revitalization and development, the Women's Foundation actively participated in the All-China Women's Federation's "Family Happiness and Health Project", launched the "Family Support Action" as the core of family building public welfare projects, carried out family public welfare services around green family construction, healthy family construction, family assistance and family support services, innovated the public welfare model of serving families, and carried forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture and family virtues. Promote the core values of socialism to take root in the family.
In 2018, FEMF initiated and joined forces with social forces to implement the "Family Growth Plan" public welfare project. With the aim of improving the comprehensive development ability of families, the project creates an exclusive learning and living space for children from disadvantaged families aged 5-14, such as subsistence allowances or poor households that have established registration cards, so as to promote the healthy growth of children and improve the overall level of family education.
Xiaoying in Balicha Village, Fangcheng County, Henan Province, is one of the children from disadvantaged families supported by the project. Xiaoying has an older sister and a younger brother, her father is working outside, her mother has died of illness, and she relies on her grandfather to take care of the family's life on weekdays. Xiaoying, who is about to enter junior high school, did not have a desk in the previous room, she could only move a small bench or squat in front of the coffee table to write homework, the lighting in the room was very poor, only a dim chandelier, after the sun went down, even if the light was turned on, the words on the homework book could not be read clearly.
The "Family Growth Project" project remodeled Xiaoying's new room, with snow-white and smooth walls, pink furniture, and soft beds. The clean and tidy desk has become Xiaoying's favorite. Volunteers will also come to accompany Xiaoying regularly, and she has also gone from being silent to taking the initiative to talk to volunteers and share interesting facts in the school. Now she wants to get into a better school and see a wider world through her own efforts.
In the past 10 years, in addition to the Family Growth Program, UNIFF has also launched family support projects such as "Love the Future" to explore the development model of early family education and solve the problem of the "last mile" of family education guidance services.
Launched in 2012, the "Mother's Smile Action" project is committed to providing scientific, timely and effective rescue treatment for every child with cleft lip and palate in difficult families, and has carried out 102 free surgeries in the past ten years, helping 7,095 children from 43 ethnic groups to smile and regain their lives.
Ten years of forging ahead, ten years of spring and autumn. In the past ten years, projects such as "Mother's Parcel", "Chaoren Mother" and "Come on Mulan" have successively won the China Charity Award, "Mother's Water Cellar", "Mother's Health Express" and "Mother's Parcel" have been included in the white paper "China's Practice of Human Poverty Reduction", "Mother's Entrepreneurship Recycling Gold Office" has won the title of "National Advanced Group for Social Poverty Alleviation", the international number 207715 asteroid has been officially named "Mother Water Cellar Star", and the "Operation Smile" volunteer medical team has been held by the Central Civilization Office, the Central Propaganda Department, the Central Organization Department and other departments.
