Self-taught writing, self-learning editing, self-purchased cameras, door-to-door teaching, village guidance... This is what Yang Wenque, a cadre of the Public Health and Tourism Service Center in Sirong Township, Rongshui Miao Autonomous County, has been doing. Over the years, he has never forgotten the original aspiration of party members, set strict demands on himself in work, constantly improved his ability, participated in poverty alleviation and rural revitalization work with practical actions, conscientiously fulfilled his commitment to joining the party, won the recognition of cadres and masses, and was rated as an outstanding Communist Party member for many consecutive years.

Self-taught writing, just to promote good people and good deeds

In 2004, Yang Wenqu became the director of the Sirong Township Cultural Broadcasting Station. When he first took office, he couldn't write, film, write screenplays, music, dance, or computers, and was ridiculed by colleagues as a "neither" webmaster.

Two years later, a press release he personally wrote to save others was published in Liuzhou Daily. Yang Wenqu said: "This is the first manuscript I received after two years of self-study. In 2006, when the transportation in Sirong Township was not yet convenient and computers were not popularized, Yang Wen took the vegetables he bought, walked for several hours to the mountain to interview, stayed at the farmer's house at night, and then sent the handwritten manuscript to the newspaper office through the post office.

Yang Wenque's intentions for the cause of news and publicity have touched countless friends around him. At that time, the leader of Rongshui TV also gave him an old camera in the station to practice after hearing his story. Since then, Yang Wenqu has embarked on the road of shooting TV news. "Before the camera used tape, after shooting, it had to be sent to the county TV station, and after the editorial staff processed it, I could get the tape back, and it was at that time that I 'stole the editing' the learning. When the editor was working on my video, I watched and asked and learned. Yang Wen does remember the learning process vividly.

In 2011, the work unit equipped employees with computers, and Yang Wenquan began to learn various operations on the computer by learning to type and make spreadsheets. "That's when I really learned to edit videos." Yang Wenquan said.

After 2015, all roads in Sirong Village Tun were hardened and opened to traffic smoothly, making it more convenient to visit the village. In 2016, the SiRong township government purchased a new camera. Using the new equipment, Yang Wen is indeed handy at the moment. "Filmed, edited, transmitted on the Internet, and no longer need to take a bus to the county to deliver tapes." Yang Wenquan said.

Up to now, Yang Wenqu has published more than 500 articles (articles) on television and print media. Among them, more than 300 advanced deeds of poverty alleviation have been collected. Yang Wenqu has been awarded the title of excellent correspondent for many years.

Come to your door for advice, just to take good news pictures

Yang Wenque: From "All Won't" to "All Things"

In 2006, during the people's congress of Sirong Township, the township leader borrowed a camera, briefly taught Yang Wenqu how to use it, and then put him in charge of taking photos of the meeting. Subsequently, Yang Wenqu took the opportunity to take a camera to take several landscape photos, selected a few photos that he thought he was satisfied with, took a bus to the county seat, found Zhang Daguang, who worked in the county cultural center and was famous in photography, to seek advice, and obtained guidance on basic photography methods.

After returning, Yang Wenqu took various pictures of the scenery and continued to visit the door to seek advice, after mastering the basic photography techniques, Yang Wenqu wanted to have a camera of his own. But the salary at that time was not enough to buy a camera, so he sold a mountain of cedar trees, scraped together 1200 yuan, and went to Liuzhou City to buy a Phoenix DC888 camera. "At that time, my monthly salary was more than 200 yuan, and a camera required me half a year's salary, which could only be supplemented by selling cedar." Yang Wenquan said.

After that, Yang Wenqu took a large number of valuable photos. During the snow disaster in January 2008, Rongdi Village and Rongtang Village were seriously affected, and Yang Wenqu walked 4 hours from the Xiaodongjiang intersection of Dongtian Village to Datun in Rongdi Village to take pictures of the snow disaster. "The snow was not knee-thick, so I stayed overnight at a villager's house that night and walked home the next day." Yang Wenqu said, "All the pictures were given free to the county flood control and drought control headquarters for reporting materials, and 23 pictures were shared. ”

In May 2008, Sirong Township was hit by floods and suffered heavy losses. Yang Wenqu wore water shoes and went to Dongtian Village Tiantoukou, Whereaboutyou, Jiangtan Village Ramp, Yong'an Village and other places to shoot and collect the disaster situation. Early the next morning, he was sent to Rongshui TV to produce a disaster report film. "I have made several feature films reflecting the difficulties of poverty alleviation, which have been used by the higher-level media, and the leaders have used them as special report videos, and the pictures have often been used by Liuzhou Daily." Yang Wenquan said.

Guidance in villages is only for the purpose of cultivating literary and artistic backbones

Yang Wenque: From "All Won't" to "All Things"

As the person in charge of the public cultural health and tourism service center, it is common for Yang Wenque to undertake and organize the masses to perform cultural and artistic performances, and it is natural for him to go to the village to guide rehearsals. Yang Wen ate in the village, lived in the village, led the backbone of the village literature and art, and rehearsed overnight.

"At that time, the transportation was inconvenient, and in order to facilitate rehearsals, I lived in Jiaangtun in Rongtang Village for half a month. During the day, he went down to the fields with the villagers to collect rice, went up the mountain to collect tea and oil, and rehearsed the program at night. Yang Wenquan said, "Now the transportation is convenient, if you want to go to Rongtang Village, you can go back." ”
