Every festival, our people always drink to celebrate, and some lawless personnel take the opportunity to do the business of making and selling counterfeits to harm consumers. We have always resolutely cracked down on these illegal crimes that harm the common people and will not be soft-hearted.
It was July 2018, the weather was hot, and my colleagues and I received a report from the public that there was a black den of counterfeit wine in a mountain somewhere nearby, but the specific location was not clear, and the mountain area where the den was located was very large, and trying to find it was tantamount to finding a needle in a haystack.
Out of professional habits, even if there is a glimmer of hope, it is still necessary to do it. That afternoon, my colleagues and I came to the mountain that the whistleblower had described, and we saw no one around, only a winding dirt road leading to the top. But there are obvious traces of vehicle crushing on the dirt road. I wondered if the dens would be at the top of the mountain. To be on the safe side, I decided to hike up the mountain in the dark.
That night, a colleague and I climbed up the dirt road to the mountain in the faint light of our mobile phones, constantly repelling mosquitoes as we went. We climbed for about half an hour to the top of the hill, which was an empty field with a bungalow compound and a van parked outside the yard. My intuition told me that this should be the den of fake wine. Later, we found out through squatting that someone was moving boxes to the car, and yes, there was no doubt that the den of fake wine was made.
The next morning, we immediately organized police forces to arrest the suspects in the den, and it was then clear that it was a compound of more than 1,000 square meters, with empty wine bottles and garbage piled up everywhere, and a large pool for washing bottles, and the water in the pool was black and smelled pungent. Through the garbage heap, into the "production workshop", some people are "sealing" with rubber hammers, some people are pasting "anti-counterfeiting labels", the next table is coded with various packaging outer seals, without any cleaning and disinfection links, without any inspection equipment, thousands of bottles of fake wine have been produced, and the cost of tens of yuan of wine has become hundreds of "high-end famous wines".
After further examination, it was found that behind this counterfeiting den is actually a criminal gang that produces and sells counterfeit wine across many provinces, some specialize in providing outer packaging materials, some specialize in providing inner packaging, and some specialize in providing base wine, and then after filling and labeling in the den, it is sold to many places across the country.
From July to early September of that year, my comrades-in-arms and I traveled to 11 cities in 4 provinces, and finally, under the unified command of the Food and Drug Crime Investigation Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, we joined hands with the public security organs of other provinces to destroy this criminal gang that produced and sold counterfeit alcohol across 4 provinces and cities in one fell swoop.
Completely cut off a cross-border drug trafficking channel

Remember it was December 1, 2019, and we got a clue: several men were preparing to take a shipment of drugs from the border to Kunming for trading. The detachment sent police to the border to carry out preliminary investigations, and after approving the clues, it quickly set up a special case team, and within three days it locked up three suspects who were active in Cangyuan Wa Autonomous County. I immediately led the task force to the target site, and a life-and-death battle with drug dealers began.
In the early morning of December 6, when it was dark and the wind was cold, my comrades and I were shivering from the cold, but we did not dare to slacken at all. As the commander of the scene, I divided the special task force into three ways to carry out the work. At about 6 o'clock, the three suspects suddenly walked out of the hotel hall where we had been squatting for a long time, got into an off-road vehicle, and drove madly to the central square of Cangyuan County. After driving into the square, the car stopped in front of a nearby bar, and the two men in the back seat of the SUV got out of the car, got into the pickup truck next to it, and the SUV turned around and sped towards the border lane.
Seeing this situation, I determined that the suspect must have gone to the border to pick up the goods, and the most important task at present was to strictly prevent the target from escaping. How to track without exposure has become a difficult problem in front of us. To this end, I once again demarcated important nodes for the sections of the road that the suspect may pass, and deployed forces to study and track to ensure that the target is firmly controlled in the line of sight of the police.
After more than 10 minutes, the buggy returned to the square again. At the moment when the two cars were about to meet, I issued an order, and the police hiding in the shadows quickly dispatched to surround the scene. The suspect was dumbfounded and prepared to jump out of the car to escape, but was surrounded by the people's police. Immediately afterwards, the sound of warnings, attacks, and handcuffs mingled violently. In less than half a minute, the three suspects were pressed to the ground. We immediately found 133.2 kilograms of methamphetamine in sacks from the car. After four days and three nights of continuous fighting, this extraordinarily serious drug transportation case was successfully solved. At this point, a cross-border drug trafficking channel was completely cut off.
Go all out to guard the "money bags" of the masses

Last year, we found in our work that some financial companies sold investment and wealth management products in the name of private equity funds. Not only that, they also promise investors a fixed high return in the process of public publicity, which has the characteristics of illegal fundraising crimes. It has a bearing on the people's vital rights and interests and must be thoroughly investigated. We decided to investigate the product business and account funds from the source and from the details.
Economic crimes are highly professional and concealed, and every link in the investigation of economic crimes is a battle of wits and courage with criminals. After clarifying the goal, my colleagues and I screened a large number of fund transfer records involved and comprehensively sorted out all the products involved, and sure enough, we found that they were all "pseudo-private placements" that illegally raised funds in the name of private equity funds, not only the products were not recorded, but even there was no real target at all.
Through the fog, we tried our best to investigate and collect evidence as quickly as possible, and with the full cooperation of financial regulatory authorities, pieces of scattered fragments were pieced together into the evidence chain of the whole case. In the end, we thoroughly exposed the criminal suspect's disguise of fabricating fund wealth management products and defrauding investment funds with high returns, and timely protected the property safety of the majority of investors.
When the masses of the people are in danger, we should stand up, which is both a responsibility and a responsibility. I think that the police who have come forward after investigation is to give timely warning before economic risks occur and take the initiative to prevent and resolve them; It is to fight the battle of tackling the source of all kinds of economic crimes; It is to protect the security of the international financial center and the "money bags" of the people.
Using technical expertise to help "reunite"

In 2021, the Ministry of Public Security deployed the "Reunion" operation, and I was fortunate to participate in it because of my expertise in imaging technology, and after continuous struggle, I challenged the problem of comparing young portraits with adult portraits, and achieved more than 400 family reunions. What impressed me the most was that through new ideas and technologies, we achieved new breakthroughs, helped a family in Guangzhou that had been separated for 23 years to achieve reunion, and also provided support for more families to reunite in the future.
In July 1999, when the boy was only one year old when he was abducted, his parents supported each other to find their son's traces in the vast sea of people, but the miracle did not happen. It wasn't until the "Reunion" operation was launched that the public security organs helped the children find their way home, reviving their hope.
However, difficulties also followed: because the child was too young when he was abducted and it was not as convenient to take photos as it is today, the couple never left any video materials for the child; Over the years, they have not gone to the public security organs to collect blood samples...
Although the couple provided us with photos of the abducted child's sister as a child, after more than 10 days of work, we were unable to overcome the technical barriers. During this period, I repeatedly consulted with key personnel in other areas of the expert group, and conducted many reviews and deductions, hoping to discover some regular characteristics and help them find their children. However, we have come to the conclusion that there is considerable difficulty in reuniting the family without photographs of the abducted children.
Later, I combined the successful cases in the early stage and found that there was a relatively stable genetic relationship of appearance among male direct family members. I decided to compare and check one by one based on the facial features of the abducted child's father, taking advantage of the new technology.
After 33 days, I finally found out among many clues that the appearance and genetic characteristics of a man somewhere in Guangdong and the father of the abducted child are very similar. After repeated confirmation and verification, I decided to issue a blood collection and comparison order to the Guangdong police. Two days later, the gratifying news came that the man was the boy who had been trafficked 22 years earlier.
On December 28, 2021, the boy, who had been trafficked for 22 years, was reunited with his family. Although I was unable to witness the reunion at the scene because I was still in charge of other cases in the rear, I still felt the deep blood and affection of this family when they hugged and cried.
The case is solved, and the losses must be recovered

After getting my affirmative answer, the eldest sister suddenly burst into tears. "My daughter was deceived, and all the family's savings were defrauded!" I immediately stepped forward to help my eldest sister and asked her to sit down and slow down. It turned out that the eldest sister's daughter Xiao Tan was in the third year of high school in a key middle school, affected by the epidemic has been taking online classes at home, in order to relieve the pressure of studying, she played online games and met a "friend", and in the next two months, Xiao Tan, who was not deeply involved in the world, was defrauded by him for various reasons of 55,000 yuan, of which 30,000 yuan was also tricked into borrowing usury. Xiao Tan's family is in the countryside, and she relies on her father to work alone to earn money to support the family on weekdays, and she also has two younger brothers. The family's life is already difficult, and now not only the tuition fees they have accumulated for many years are gone, but they also have debt. Because it was only more than two months before the college entrance examination, in order not to increase Xiao Tan's psychological burden and let her prepare for the exam with peace of mind, her mother proposed that we would not ask Xiao Tan when we investigated the case.
Since I couldn't get direct information by asking the victim, I adjusted my thinking and adopted a roundabout strategy, starting with my colleagues to investigate the peripheral situation. After collecting a large amount of data for research and investigation, we successfully locked down the criminal suspect Chen. But at this time, Chen was like evaporating from the world, and there was no trace.
On January 14, 2021, the long-disappeared Chen suddenly appeared, we immediately searched for it, sleeplessly, and on January 18, finally arrested the criminal suspect Chen who had just fled here in a restaurant in Baiyun District, Guangzhou, and confessed to the crime of defrauding Xiao Tan money online.
I immediately informed Xiao Tan's mother of the suspect's capture, and she was excited on the phone. "Did we get our money back?" My heart tightened, although the case was solved, if the loss could not be recovered, the blow to the victim would still be huge. But the money that can be defrauded has long been squandered by Chen, what can I do?
I found Chen's family to do work, and the family agreed to refund the money on their behalf. 10 days later, when Xiao Tan's parents took the money that was defrauded, they burst into tears with excitement, and at that moment, I felt that no matter how much I paid, it was worth it.
