It is the brightest plant on campus in the fall and also plays the prelude to the autumn of the campus.
Now is the time when the Luan tree blossoms and bears fruit. This morning, I stood under these luan trees and saw them covered with feathery compound leaves, holding up a puff of gold, and a gust of wind blew, and the flowers fell on my hair, and at my feet, in a short time, they covered the ground.

I gently picked one up and looked closely, and the Luan tree flower had five petals that folded outward like the fluttering wings of a butterfly. The flower buds in the center are thin and long, with fine fluff. Where the petals connect to the flower buds, there is a circle that is red, which contrasts strongly with the yellow of the petals and looks like a burning "small flame".
After seeing the luan tree flowers, and then looking up at the luan tree in the middle, I was surprised that its branches were full of mini lanterns that were crowded together while they were blooming. These small lanterns have edges on their bodies, and the edges are connected to the bracts, and each bract has a small yellow ball inside. Therefore, people also call the luan tree "lantern tree".
