Early life
Paula Barton was born in 1975 in Los Angeles, California. My mother taught in school and my father was a lawyer. Patton's mother was European-American and his father was African-American. She graduated from Alexander Hamilton High School and then attended the University of California, Berkeley, and transferred to the USC Film School after one year. Shortly after completing his studies, Barton took part in a three-month filming mission to produce a documentary for PBS.
Acting career

In 2005, Barton made his debut in the film Enemy of All, starring in Cherish (2009), Mission Impossible 4: The Phantom Protocol (2011), Two Guns (2013) and Warcraft (2016).
Barton voiced Arthur's 2004 album Confessions. She voiced the female voice in the song "Can U Handle It?" co-written with Robin Seak, who later married her. Barton wrote songs on several of Robin Seaker's albums under the name "Max", which comes from her middle name (Maxine).
In 2005, Barton teamed up with Will Smith and Eva Mendes to play a minor role in the romantic comedy film Enemies of All, her film debut. In the same year, she starred in the film London. In 2006, she appeared with OutKast members Andre Benjamin and Big Boi in the musical film Wild Ages, written and directed by Bryan Barber.

In 2008, Barton played television journalist Kate Madison in the comedy film The Key Poll. She played Ms. Bruce Ryan in Lee Daniels' critically acclaimed theatrical film Cherish Life (2009).
In 2013, Barton collaborated with Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg on the action-comedy film Two Guns and starred in the romantic comedy film Baggage Claim. The film received bad reviews from many critics.
In 2016, Barton starred in the romantic comedy film "The Good Couple" with Terrance Jenkins and Cassie Ventura, starred in the comedy film "Fake New Life" with Adam Sandler and David Spade, and played Garona in the June film adaptation of Warcraft.
Personal life
In 1991, 16-year-old Barton met Robin Seak, then 14-year-old, at a 21-year-old hip-hop club called Balistyx (co-founded and co-hosted by David Faustino) on Los Angeles Sunset Boulevard, and Sik invited her to dance. According to Sik, he sang to her "Jungle Fever" while dancing.
The couple began dating in 1993 and married in June 2005. Barton gave birth to their son in April 2010. On February 24, 2014, the two announced their breakup, ending a 21-year marriage. On October 8, 2014, Barton formally filed for divorce and raised their son together.
