Blue-winged leaf plover (scientific name: Chloropsis cochinchinensis): A small bird with a body length of 15–18 cm. Distribution in China: Yunnan (Yingjiang, Southwest, Xishuangbanna, Hekou)

It inhabits evergreen broad-leaved forests, secondary forests and margin sparsely forested shrubs below 1500 m above sea level, especially in drier and sparser forests, but also in secondary shrublands, orchards and small trees near farmland. Habits: Often in pairs or small groups. Arboreal, mainly active on the canopy and shrubs of trees, but also perched on trees at night.

The breeding season is from April to June. The nest is on a tree, the nest is cup-shaped, mainly woven from thin, soft dry grass stems, and there are cobwebs on the outer wall of the nest. The size of the nest is 6-7 cm in diameter, 6-6.5 cm in depth, 5-9 m in height from the ground, and usually lays 2-3 eggs per clutch.
