At 19:25 on August 16, 2021, the longchuan county public security bureau forest police brigade on duty received a bird handed over by the duty personnel of the Guangsong Border Police Station in Longchuan County and briefly explained the situation to the police on duty, at about 18:00 on the same day, the duty personnel of the Guangchuan Police Station heard a sudden noise outside the house, followed the sound to the outside of the house and found a bird lying on the ground. The duty officer went to check and found that it was an owl-like bird, and it was injured and unable to fly. In order to ensure the safety of the bird, the duty officer quickly took it to the forest police brigade of the county public security bureau.
After preliminary observation, the bird is suspected to be a carved owl, a national second-class protected animal. The eagle owl was injured due to wing injury, in order to make the injured eagle owl receive timely rescue, the police of the Forest Police Brigade promptly handed the eagle owl to the Longchuan County Wildlife Shelter and Rescue Station.
