On August 25, Myanmar police learned that seven Burmese women had been asked for help through a live stream on social networking sites, claiming that they had been lured to Dubai by a woman named Ma zhi Dimin and collectively detained in a small room in Dubai, and that their passports had all been taken away, and that they would be sold to Iraq for only one meal a day.

On August 26, myanmar police contacted the seven women, and according to clues, the police opened an investigation at the Damai District Police Station in Yangon.

After the case was filed, the Myanmar police contacted the Dubai police. On August 30, Dubai police arrested Mazi Dimin and reported him to Interpol for human trafficking. Subsequently, the Myanmar police arrested Ma Mimi and Ma Sui Ming, associates of Ma Zhi Di Ming, in Yangon, who were responsible for carrying out the lure in Myanmar.

In addition, the Myanmar police contacted Interpol and the Dubai police to rescue seven Burmese women in custody and sent seven to the Dubai Women's Care Centre.
