According to Australian basketball reporter Olgun Uluc, sources revealed that the Pelicans will sign a multi-year contract with Brazilian defender Didi Louzada (pictured left), and Didi will arrive in New Orleans this morning local time.
Didi is 21 years old, 1.95 meters tall, weighs 84 kg (draft data, he has reportedly gained about 18 kg), and plays as a defender on the field.
Diddy was selected by the Pelicans with the 35th overall pick in the 2019 Draft, and he then joined the Sydney Kings of the Australian League and has been playing for two seasons. This season, Diddy averaged 8.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game, shooting 38.9 percent from the field and 26.4 percent from three-point range.
