Kunming, September 9 (China News Network) -- The moon is born on the sea, and the end of the world is at this time. The 2022 "Flower Good Moon" Mid-Autumn Festival Cultural Exchange Activity entered Indonesia and will be launched on the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival. When the moon is full of branches, let us "clouds" gather on the bank of Dianchi Lake, meet in front of the Grand View Building, enjoy the "Long Lian Printing Moon", and encounter a Mid-Autumn Festival collection that travels through time and beyond space.
The event was a foreign cultural exchange activity jointly sponsored by the Information Office of the People's Government of Yunnan Province and the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Yunnan Province, aiming to use the Mid-Autumn Festival as the carrier to convey the good wishes of a good moon to overseas Chinese and international friends around the world. The event was organized by the Yunnan Branch of China News Service, and co-organized by the Yunnan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the Yunnan South Asia and Southeast Asia Regional International Communication Center, the Information Office of the Dehong Prefecture People's Government, the Indo-Chinese Musicians and Chinese Singers Alliance, and the Indo-Chinese Writers Association.
Indonesia is China's "good neighbor, good friend and good partner", and it is also the country with the largest number of overseas Chinese in the world. Since the establishment of the comprehensive strategic partnership in 2013, the two countries have built a new pattern of bilateral relations with "four-wheel drive" of political, economic, humanistic and maritime cooperation, and maintained close cooperation in education, tourism, cultural exchanges, digital economy and other fields. In July 2022, the heads of state of China and Indonesia met and issued a joint press statement, agreeing to establish the general direction of jointly building a community with a shared future between China and Indonesia. As a frontier gateway and radiation center connecting China and ASEAN, Yunnan has frequent exchanges and close cooperation with Indonesia, and a large number of overseas Chinese from Yunnan have worked and lived in Indonesia.

With the theme of "Chasing the Moon in The Clouds, Long Love in Mountains and Seas", the event includes three parts: The Mid-Autumn Festival, the Moon Worship Activity, the Mid-Autumn Festival, and the Moon-Chasing Activity.
Among them, the highlight of the event, the Mid-Autumn Festival and Moon Appreciation Activity, will be launched from 8:00 to 9:40 on the evening of the Mid-Autumn Festival on the 10th. The 100-minute cloud collection, jointly held in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China, Dehong Dai Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture and Jakarta, Indonesia, is divided into four chapters: "Autumn Water Union", "Guan Tidal Surge", "Mountains and Seas" and "Flying Flower Order", which will present a Mid-Autumn Festival cultural feast of two countries and three places for overseas Chinese and international friends around the world.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional festival of the Chinese nation, which carries the beautiful vision of the sons and daughters of China on "reunion" and "returning to their hometown". Throughout the ages, around the bright moon in the sky, people worship the moon, worship the moon, admire the moon, and look forward to the full circle of the moon. The literati and scholars have left many masterpieces that express romance and affection through the moon. This collection, continuing the elegance of the ancients, will show the cultural conception of the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival through a series of observable, perceptible and experiential activities such as moon viewing, moon chanting, moon chanting, moon painting, moon dancing, and moon eclipse.

Built in the Qing Dynasty, the Grand View Tower is famous for the world's first Long Lian Grand View Building Long Lian made by Sun Qiweng. On the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival, looking down at the water from its upper floor, you can get the fun of "Three Pools Printing Moon" and "Long Joint Printing Moon". In addition, the "Flower Good Moon Full Moon - Yunnan Rhymes and Lotus Fragrance" photographic exhibition, as a warm-up exhibition of this Mid-Autumn Festival cultural exchange activity, has been opened in Malaysia, Myanmar, Cambodia and Mongolia since September 1. With the theme of "Flowers And a Full Moon", the exhibition exhibited 50 photographic works by Chinese photographic artists in four countries through online exhibitions, which were widely praised by the local people. The exhibition will run until September 11.
