The Commonwealth of Nations is an international organization of 53 independent sovereign states (including vassals), most of whom are former British colonies or protectorates, and the current Commonwealth head elizabeth II (Queen Elizabeth Alexandra Marie Windsor) is also the head of state or queen of 15 Commonwealth kingdoms, including the United Kingdom.
These 16 nations form a modern version of the Commonwealth (honoring the Queen of England as its own queen or supreme monarch),
