Danish artist Thomas Dambo and his team built 3,500 bird houses from waste, which are placed in major cities around the world. In doing so, in addition to promoting the concept of environmental protection, he also gave the birds flying in the sky a place to stay.
Over the past few years, Tanba and his team have upcycling unwanted wooden boards, skis, sofas, lamps, tables and chairs, etc., all hand-cut, stitched, and finally colored themselves, creating a variety of colorful bird houses. Some of these bird houses are hung outdoors in trees, some are mounted on gates, and some are lined with walls.
Tanba said that these handmade bird houses are for the sake of these "very few animals in the city", so the idea of creating a "happy bird city" was born. Today, these 3,500 bird houses have spread all over the world, which is both beautiful and environmentally friendly, and also gives birds a place to rest in the city.
