Recently, the first ship of the "Shahid-Suleimani" series of missile catamarans developed and manufactured by Iran itself officially joined the combat sequence of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Navy.
The missile catamaran is equipped with: 6 anti-ship/ ground cruise missiles, mounted in inclined launchers on both sides of the hull, 16 (4X4) vertical launch units for short-range anti-aircraft missiles and 6 (2X3) vertical launch units for medium-range anti-aircraft missiles installed in the center of the superstructure behind the deck room.
An Iranian domestically produced 30 mm naval gun and 2 sets of anti-submarine rocket launch system on the foredeck, 4 20 mm guns in the central four corners of the superstructure, the tail has a helicopter take-off and landing platform, can take off and land carrier-based helicopters.
