With the construction of "China's Heavenly Eye", Kedu Town, Pingtang County, began to build a characteristic astronomical town with the theme of science popularization, vigorously developed the research and learning industry, and more than 20 projects such as astronomical space-time tower, astronomical experience hall, and astronomical observation demonstration have been put into use.

Just this summer, the "Astronomical Town" receives more than 100 research teams every day, with an average daily visitor volume of more than 4,000 people.

The popularity of "Astronomical Town" is getting more and more prosperous, and more and more tourists are coming to visit, which also drives villagers to find employment and start businesses at their doorstep, increase their income and become rich. Through the development of a new model of tourism poverty alleviation of "astronomical science popularization + research and education + rural tourism", kedu town has developed rapidly in terms of catering, hotels, leisure and entertainment, and the income of villagers has increased significantly.
