September 2 is the Independence Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam
77 years ago, on September 2, 1945, Ho Chi Minh issued the Declaration of Independence at a gathering of thousands of people held in the center of Hanoi, announcing to the world the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.
Liberation from French and Japanese colonialists was not the most difficult page in Vietnam's history.
During the Civil War, Vietnam split into North Vietnam and South Vietnam, the invasion of American troops - the Vietnamese had to show heroic miracles in order to defend independence with powerful opponents.
Since then, the United States has been forced to withdraw its troops from Vietnam, becoming a unified nation, and gaining true independence.
On July 2, 1976, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam was established.
