This sounds like a fantastic story, but it really happened at Ding'en Temple in Hong Kong.
On October 14, 2015, Hong Kong's Ding'en Temple let a group of pilgrims who worshipped the Buddha see a different scene than usual, only to see several police cars escorting three nuns and a monk into the police car, and some of the buddhist seekers who often came to the incense quickly recognized that there was also the abbot of Ding'en Temple, Shi Zhiding.

Shi Zhiding was only the abbot's legal name, and Shi Zhiding's original name was Shi Aiwen. Shi Aiwen is not an authentic Hong Konger, but comes from the far northeast.

As one of the earliest temples in Hong Kong, Dinghui Temple was originally named Lan Ruoyuan and later renamed Dinghui Temple. In the days that followed, after Long En came to work, he came to the temple every day to burn incense and worship the Buddha, and at the same time, as soon as he saw the abbot Master Chuhui appear, he immediately went forward to help him, and tried to win the favor of Master Chuhui through these and show his sincerity.
Over time, Master Chuhui was naturally impressed by Long Enlai's perseverance, and then asked him why he chose to escape into the Void Gate and become a disciple of the Buddha Gate?
Long Enlai once again played his acting skills, and told Master Chuhui about the failure of his marriage and the disappointment of the marriage that resulted from it, and said that at his age, even if he found a new husband, it was not as good as before, so he had the idea of escaping into the empty door.
For Long Enlai's unfortunate encounter, Master Chuhui naturally had no doubt about him, and he was very sympathetic. Then, Master Chu Hui decided to accept this disciple and give him the Dharma name Shi Zhi Ding.
At first, after joining the Buddha's gate, Shi Zhiding was indeed devoted to the Buddha, and handled the relationship with the disciples and brothers very well, which made many people very satisfied.
And human desire is like a boulder rolling down from a mountain, and once it starts, it is out of control. At the beginning, Shi Zhiding only wanted to join the Buddhist monasteries, so that he could eat and drink without working, and he could also get a certain salary.
But over time, the tedious life made Shi Zhiding begin to have a different kind of mind.
She observed that the people who came to Dinghui Temple for incense were very generous about the sesame oil money, and the incense oil money obtained by the temple was disposed of by the abbot.
The considerable amount of sesame oil money made Shi Zhiding's goal of being a rich man who had been silent in his heart for a long time begin to come alive again. So Shi Zhiding, who did not worry about eating and drinking, had a new idea, that is, to become the abbot of Dinghui Temple, and then use the power to dispose of sesame oil money and take it into his own pocket.
With the goal, Shi Zhiding has a new motivation. She knew that the core of Dinghui Temple was Master Chuhui, and as long as master Chuhui was hired, it would not be difficult to become an abbot.
After all, Master Chuhui is old, what is the most lacking thing for the elderly? After the money did not have to be considered, it was natural to ask for warmth in life, and Shi Zhiding firmly grasped the identity of his disciple, cared for her very much, and did not forget to say that this was just what a disciple should do.
This made Master Chuhui very satisfied, and before he died, he pushed Shi Zhiding to the position of abbot of Dinghui Temple.
But Shi Zhiding was after all a half-way killer, so some of the highly respected old monks in the monastery had always been very dissatisfied with this newly appointed young abbot, and often provoked him in words.
The multi-faceted Interpretation of Wisdom naturally understands that as a junior, you cannot rush to confront the elders, and you are still an elder of high moral standing. But if she couldn't do it, she came to the dark, and she designed to deliberately make these old monks make mistakes, and eventually removed their positions, so that they could only rest in the temple and not interfere in other matters.
The highly respected monks were done, and some young monks were reluctant to do so. After all, some monks are the disciples of these old monks who have been dismissed. In addition, they themselves are very unhappy that Shi Zhiding has become the host at such an age, and often secretly provokes.
For these little tricks, Shi Zhiding did not stop doing two things, and directly found some reasons to expel them from the monastery. Since then, Dinghui Temple has become a hall of words for Shi Zhiding.
At first, Shi Zhiding was still very cautious about the income of the sesame oil money, and did not dare to take more, only a small part of his personal pockets, most of which were still used in monasteries and donated to charities.
It was only after a long time that Shi Zhiding's appetite was getting bigger and bigger, and she was more and more unsatisfied, and she was very dissatisfied with why she wanted to donate the sesame oil money, in her opinion, since it was sent to the temple, it was already her own money. In the spirit of profit, Shi Zhiding alone monopolized the financial power, and the ordinary monks had no idea how much the monastery's income was.
In order to make it easier to collect money, Shi Zhiding also deliberately got to know some of the elites of society and drew a large amount of donations for the monastery. Of course, this money was not used in the monastery at all, but all went into the pocket of Shi Zhiding alone.
Not only that, but having donated money to charities before, Shi Zhiding often amassed wealth in the name of charity, no matter how much money these pilgrims donated, she did it all.
But this method is not a long-term solution after all, and it will naturally not work for a long time. Accidentally, Shi Zhiding looked up and found that there was a leak of rain on the roof, and he immediately had a plan.
After that, Shi Zhiding often began to cry poorly, saying that his monasteries were leaking and there was no way to repair them. Shi Zhi decided that crying alone was not counted, and asked other monks to cry with her.
Such a weeping poverty really made the temple pull a large amount of sponsorship for repairing the temple, but it was a great pity that all this money went into the pocket of Shi Zhiding without any accident. After having money, Shi Zhiding carried a brand-name bag, took the latest Apple mobile phone in his hand, and appeared on the streets of Hong Kong to leisurely shop.

With the help of Weng Jingjing's influence, Dinghui Temple continued to usher in a large number of patronage, and Shi Zhiding also smiled in his heart. At the same time, Weng Jingjing naturally became the director of Dinghui Temple.
