Salary threshold: NZD 26.16 (or above)/hour
It is equivalent to and linked to the tier 3 rate in the wage legislation. However, if this situation lapses and is not replaced, the rate at that time will remain the same and be pegged to the median wage, increasing over time.
Maximum visa duration and length of stay:
Up to 2 years at Level3 rate in the payarrangement. Two years later, a standdown period will take place and immigrants will not be able to apply for another AEWV that pays a level 4 rate for at least 12 months.
