At an extraordinary moment, Xia Liyan, vice chairman of the Kuomintang, led a delegation to visit the mainland on 10 July. Against the strong opposition and pressure of the DPP, Xia Liyan and his entourage successfully completed their trip to the mainland and returned to Taiwan on 27 July.

Xia Liyan said this and held talks with relevant departments on the mainland. The KMT reiterated its adherence to the 1992 Consensus and the one-China principle and expressed its resolute opposition to Taiwan independence. Unexpectedly, the mainland trip led by Xia Liyan brought unexpected benefits to the Kuomintang.

In recent years, the KMT has been suppressed and beaten by the DPP in Taiwan, so that former and current KMT leaders have not dared to express the one-China principle in a generous manner, and even evaded the "1992 Consensus" and opposed Taiwan independence.

According to Taiwan's latest polls, the KMT's soaring approval rating has now surpassed that of the DPP. Obviously, the people on the island know that the DPP is undermining regional stability and is unreliable.

The Tsai Ing-wen authorities have embraced foreigners to collude with external forces to seek independence and separatism, and the result can only be to cause cross-strait war and turn the Taiwan region into a battlefield.

Recently, according to the latest polls, the KMT is far ahead with a support rate of 41.7%, far exceeding the DPP's 15.3%. In fact, it should be understood that adhering to the "1992 Consensus" and opposing Taiwan independence is the only way out.

Zhu Lilun, the current chairman of the KUOMINTA, happily affirmed Xia Liyan's mainland trip at the meeting, saying that the KMT should maintain dialogue and exchanges in cross-strait relations, rather than engaging in vicious confrontation like the DPP.

Zhu Lilun accused the DPP of only cursing people behind closed doors and having no way to solve problems for the people of Taiwan, and the KMT was willing to risk being "smeared" and "smeared" by the DPP and resolutely sent a delegation to the mainland for dialogue and exchanges in the hope of reducing the risk of war.

At the same time, to solve the difficulties of Taiwan businessmen and Taiwan compatriots, Zhu Lilun called on the people to see clearly which is an irresponsible political party. In recent years, under the manipulation and deception of the DPP authorities, Taiwan's green media have become more vocal and the KMT has been almost marginalized.

At the Kuomintang National Congress on August 28, Zhu Lilun took advantage of the situation to beat the DPP's cross-strait policy. It said that the KMT has the ability to maintain dialogue and communication with the mainland, while the DPP cannot land. Zhu Lilun used his ties with the mainland to canvass for the ensuing "nine-in-one" election.

During his visit to the United States in June this year, Zhu Lilun vaguely denied the "1992 Consensus" and went so far as to call it a "consensus without consensus, which is a serious setback of the KMT on the issue of the one-China principle."

After this tense cross-strait relationship, Zhu Lilun called back to the cross-strait policy, claiming that the KMT must take the positive blue and middle line and not take the biased front and extremes. Zhu Lilun was afraid of losing the support of the Deep Blue Fundamentals, and it was all for the election.

Zhu Lilun's military exercises against the Mainland People's Liberation Army cannot be treated head-on, and he is like the DPP in expressing his opposition.
