The pilot waved to the audience to greet the audience with countless "hardcore, handsome" circles

Yesterday, the Y-20 was on a stand-alone aerial display.

In addition to "seven machines blossoming" and "one arrow through the heart", you can also see the tactical charm of the J-20. Yesterday, the Air Force Aviation Open Event and Changchun Air Show kicked off, in addition to the "Red Eagle", "Heaven's Wing" air show team and Bayi air show team to show aerobatic performances, 20 families J-20, Y-20 also showed a number of single-plane flight actions. After the morning air show, the pilots of the Air Force Bayi Air Show Team waved to the audience, a move that once again circled fans, and was evaluated by netizens as "hardcore and handsome".

Transport oil -20

Aerial combat power "multiplier"

After watching the 20 series of air flight performances, Nandu reporters came to the static display area of the event and saw the oil-20 that met with the public for the first time. As a new generation of aerial refueling equipment, the Y-20 is a large-scale aerial refueling platform independently developed using aerial refueling technology on the basis of Y-20 aircraft. How to identify the difference between the Oil-20 and the Y-20 at a glance? From the outside, this big guy is not ordinary, it has a pair of large "wings", behind each of the two "wings" there is a long refueling tube, it is equipped with troops, can be used as a "multiplier" of air combat power.

It is worth noting that netizens also gave the task performed by the oil-20 a romantic name, called "Kiss of the Long Sky.". How exactly does this "kiss of the sky" come to fruition? Is the difficulty factor high?

Senior Colonel Wang Mingzhi of the Air Force Command College analyzed in an exclusive interview with Nandu reporter that the salient feature of the Y-20 is that there are two large pods under the two wings near the wingtip, and here is the air refueling pod of the Y-20. When refueling, the refueler will release the pod, a hose extends a certain length, and then, the oiled aircraft gradually approaches the refueling cone sleeve, with the refueling probe tube on the refueling machine and the refueling cone sleeve set together, so as to achieve air docking, which is what people call "long air kiss", "this work is still very challenging." ”

The scope of operations can be greatly expanded

Public reports show that the oil-20, which has just returned from a training exercise in the Taiwan Strait in the eastern theater, can refuel the J-20 and J-16 at the same time at high altitude. Recently, Air Force spokesman Shen Jinke released photos of the same frame of the Oil-20, J-20, and J-16, which also aroused the attention of the outside world. At the second press conference of the Air Force Aviation Opening Event on August 26, the Air Force once again released a commemorative cover of three aircraft in the same frame, how to interpret the signals released behind these actions?

Wang Mingzhi believes that after the Oil-20 is equipped with the Air Force, it will play an important supporting role in improving the combat effectiveness of the Air Force. Aviation activities have three main characteristics, namely high-speed mobility, long-range operations and fierce assaults, of which air refueling capabilities have a profound impact on the realization of long-range operations.

"With an aerial refueling tanker, it is equivalent to moving a gas station from the ground to the air, and it is an active aerial gas station." Wang Mingzhi said that in this way, when carrying out tasks, combat aircraft can receive refueling from the Y-20 as needed, so as to fly farther, have a wider range of activities, and deploy more flexibly, which can play an important role in improving air strike capabilities. With the Y-20, the combat flexibility of the air force combat unit is greater, and the combat range can be greatly expanded, which is why it is said to be an air power "multiplier".

New tracks

Have been to places I haven't been

Fly over routes that haven't been flown

This year is the ninth time that the Air Force Aviation Open Event has been held in Changchun, Jilin Province, as the second hometown of Air Force pilots, it has witnessed the 10-year iterative upgrade of the Air Force's equipment. Shen Jinke stressed that in the past 10 years, the Air Force has been to places that have not been, flown over routes that have not been flown, and announced a new track for 10 years.

Back in March 2015, the Chinese Air Force H-6K bombers flew out of the first island chain and flew over the Bashi Strait, declaring the presence of the Chinese Air Force in the western Pacific. In 2016, air force aviation units dispatched H-6K fighters to conduct combat cruises on Huangyan Island. In recent years, the normalization system of multiple fighter formations such as the H-6K and Su-35 and early warning aircraft, tankers, and reconnaissance aircraft has not only declared the strategic existence of the Chinese Air Force, but also enhanced the actual combat capability of the Chinese Air Force to deal with various security threats.

Shen Jinke said that carrying out far-sea and ocean-going training is a common practice of the air forces of big countries and the air forces of strong countries, and it is also an inevitable choice for the Chinese air force to take the road of strengthening the army.

The space "God of War" and "Clairvoyance" appeared

Nandu reporter observed that at this year's aviation opening activities, whether it is an air show or a static exhibition area, you can see the figure of star equipment that has opened up a new track together. In addition to the 20 series of the Internet celebrity family, there are also the bomb-6K, which is known as the "God of War" of the air and space, and the air police-500, which is known as the "clairvoyant".

In this regard, Wang Mingzhi told the Nandu reporter that in the past 10 years, the people's air force police patrolled the East China Sea, the War Patrol, the Taiwan Strait, the former Western Pacific, the island cruise, overseas delivery, anti-epidemic disaster relief, and opened up seven new tracks. Whether in the East China Sea, the South China Sea, or on the plateau, you can see the figure of the air force aviation unit.

"Step by step, the track is constantly extending, and the scope of expansion is further expanding." Wang Mingzhi said that now, with the addition of new members of the Oil-20, the Air Force has become more flexible in carrying out tasks and has effectively improved the strategic capabilities of the Air Force.

J-20 pilots praised the fighter's excellent technical performance:

The action is highly ornamental and the actual combat ability is also strong

"The equipment of the people's air force is becoming more and more advanced, and our confidence in winning the war is getting more and more sufficient." On August 26, the Air Force Aviation Open Event and Changchun Air Show kicked off. Li Debing, a J-20 pilot who displayed single-plane aerobatic actions in the air on the same day, introduced at the press conference that the J-20's flight action has both strong ornamentality and strong actual combat capabilities, reflecting the excellent technical performance of the fighter, and at the same time greatly testing the pilot's psychological quality, technical combat level, and aircraft control ability.

Li Debing said: The installation of the J-20 has not only changed the composition of the air force's main battle aircraft, but also brought about changes in operational concepts and tactical tactics, demonstrating the new achievements in the strategic transformation of the air force and the new development of the air force's strength.

"The J-20 fighter is keeping pace with the times, and its capabilities have been greatly improved compared to when it first equipped the troops. The J-20, a heavy weapon of the country, will certainly live up to its mission and create miracles in defending national sovereignty and territorial integrity. Li Debing said.

He also revealed that the initial plan on the opening day was a two-machine performance, but due to the complicated weather conditions in the morning, they made careful preparations on the ground, made backup plans, adjusted the movements, and also controlled the amount of movements. In order to better show the performance of the most advanced domestic fighters, they did their best to show the best side of the J-20.

He Xiaoli, the first female pilot of the fighter plane:

We are both actors and combatants

A J-10 performance aircraft with an elevation angle of nearly 70 degrees straight into the sky, double machine scissors maneuvering, head-to-head crossover, six-machine formation of pounds, synchronous rolling... On August 26, the Air Force Bayi Air Show Team staged a wonderful and shocking air show over Changchun. He Xiaoli, deputy captain of the first flying brigade of the Air Force's Bayi Air Show Team, was the flight commander of the air show.

"Firm control of the joystick in your hand"

"For this Changchun open event, we have formulated 4 sets of performance plans, a total of 22 actions." He Xiaoli introduced that these actions put forward high requirements for the team's technology and teamwork. "For example, the action of the four-plane horizontal team, (needs) the four aircraft to maintain the interval, the speed is the same, and the front and back must be on a horizontal line."

The performance was very difficult, but the experienced He Xiaoli and her comrades successfully completed the performance task.

He Xiaoli, who graduated from the People's Liberation Army Air Force Aviation University in Chinese, joined the Air Force Bayi Air Show Team in 2013 and is now the deputy captain of the first flight team of the performance team, a lieutenant colonel of the Air Force, and a first-class pilot. It is worth noting that last year, at the meeting to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, He Xiaoli piloted a J-10 fighter and formed a "71" formation with her comrades-in-arms at a speed of 500 kilometers per hour and flew over Tiananmen Square.

Behind every air show is hard training day after day. Compared with men, women have weaker upper arm strength, and female pilots have to work harder to operate the aircraft more accurately. When she first joined the Bayi Air Show team, in order to maintain the formation and flight distance in training, He Xiaoli would always "firmly control the joystick in her hand". After the training, He Xiaoli's hands were shaking so much that she could not use chopsticks to pick vegetables, and could only eat with a spoon.

Always ready to defend the blue sky of the motherland

He Xiaoli is better known as the first batch of female fighter pilots on the mainland, and has participated in many major air shows such as military parades celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of New China, military parades commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, and military parades celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China.

"In our daily training, we mainly focus on performance training, undertaking domestic and foreign air shows and other welcome tasks. But as pilots, we are not only actors, but also combatants. Like all our comrades-in-arms, we are always ready to fight. He Xiaoli said that no matter which formation they are in, every pilot is always ready to defend the blue sky of the motherland.

For He Xiaoli, Changchun is her second hometown, where her alma mater, the Air Force Aviation University, is located. Taking this opportunity, He Xiaoli also expressed her heart to the new generation of flight students. She said in response to a question from a Reporter from Nandu: "I believe everyone knows that the new flight cadets who entered the school this year were transported into the army by the Y-20, which is the first time in the history of our Air Force." Along with the enlistment of the track of the national heavy equipment, this reflects the great importance that our country attaches to the training of pilots. ”

She sent a message to the young teachers and sisters, hoping that the new generation of flight cadets would dare to dream, dare to chase dreams, be diligent in realizing their dreams, and grow into future talents who will win the mainland in the sky and space.

The person who filmed the "Three Musketeers" in the same frame said:

Record the Air Force for 28 years with a lens

Yang Jun, a second-class sergeant major at an air force base, is the photographer of the photo of the latest primary school "Science" textbook cover "three machines in the same frame". What are the untold stories behind this fire-burning photo? The following is a self-statement from Yang Jun.

We, the fighter photographers, used to be called "warrior photographers," but now we are called "second-class sergeant majors." No matter how the name changes, from the time I picked up the camera, for 28 years, I have insisted on recording the development of the People's Air Force with my lens.

The photos of the J-20, J-16, and J-10C "three aircraft in the same frame" that have been hotly searched in the past two days were taken during a previous actual combat training of air force units. At that time, the J-10C was training at ultra-low altitude in the desert area, and the climate and air flow conditions were more complicated, but thanks to the close cooperation between the fighters, after taking dozens of photos, I finally captured this "three-plane and frame" photo.

The first thought in my mind at that time was that this was the "Three Musketeers" of the People's Air Force.

After the photo was sent out through the "Air Force Release" Weibo, the heat was very high, and the education department also came to contact me, wanting to use the photo as a textbook cover. I was very happy and hoped that through my photos, more young people could learn about the Air Force and love the Air Force. After the discussion, it was finally decided to use it as the cover of the science textbook for the fourth grade of primary school.

Because of this photo, I was also invited to give a lecture to our local kindergarten children. Before the class started, the teacher specifically told me to talk for 20 minutes, not too long, because the children were too young and inattentive. Unexpectedly, I talked for an hour and a half in a class, and the children were enthusiastic and highly engaged throughout the whole process.

Toward the end of class, I designed a question session to see how much the children understood. I released three photos, namely J-16, J-20, J-10C, I did not expect that 80% of the children remembered. Especially the most sci-fi J-20, they can all recognize it. This incident made me really feel that the dream of a strong army and the Chinese dream should start from the child.
