Videos and photos of the event
"As the ecological environment of Qinling Mountains is getting better and better, more and more wild animals have been photographed in recent years!" He Zhan, director of the Wildlife Management Station of the Qinling Ecological Environmental Protection and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau in Enyi District, told Xiaobu. The "Qinling Guards" who travel through the depths of the mountains all day regularly collect and sort out a video footage. Every time you read the memory card, you can see a lot of surprises.
XiaoBu learned
From December last year to August this year
Waterlogged Yu state-owned ecological forest farm jurisdiction
The infrared camera captures it in total
Precious images of 19 species of wild animals in the Qinling Mountains
Among them, there are 3 species of national level I key wild protected animals
They are Qinling antelope, Sichuan golden snub-nosed monkey and forest musk
There are 11 species of national level II key wild protected animals
5 species of other wild animals
(Sichuan Golden Snub-nosed Monkey)
(Chinese iguana)
(Lin Musk)
(Qinling Antelope)
this year
It is located in the state-owned forest area of The Western Mountains of Taipingyu

Successfully photographed national level II protected animals
Macaque "family of three" image
In front of the camera, rare wild animals have different forms and are leisurely. Among them, the golden snub-nosed monkey and antelope are the flagship protected species in the northern slope area of the middle section of the Qinling Mountains, and they frequently appear in the lens, reflecting the good forest ecological environment and complex and diverse terrain and water system here, providing a good habitat for the survival and reproduction of rare wild animals and plants. It also shows that the ecological environment in the northern slope of the middle section of the Qinling Mountains has continued to improve, and the protection of wild animals has achieved remarkable results.
At present, the "Qinling Guards" have also passed
Widely publicize, actively rescue, and intelligently control
Carry out work such as wildlife accident insurance
Spare no effort to protect the "animal homeland" of Qinling Mountains
△ In March this year, the staff rescued the mainland's "three haves" to protect the white bone top of birds. (Note: "Three haves" protected animals refer to terrestrial wild animals with important ecological, scientific and social value protected by the state.) )
△ In May this year, the staff rescued the mainland's "three haves" to protect the bird Dai Sheng.
△ In June this year, the staff rescued the national grade II protected animal red-bellied golden pheasant (sub-adult).
According to statistics, there are more than 580 kinds of terrestrial wild animals in the Qinling Mountains, including 12 species of national level I key protected animals. In recent years, the city has solidly promoted the conservation of biodiversity in Qinling, continued to restore the ecosystem of Qinling, protected endangered animals and plants, and made Qinling a beautiful home for animals to survive for a long time.
In September 2021, the Xi'an Municipal Government issued the "Xi'an Qinling Ecological Environment Protection Plan" (hereinafter referred to as the "Planning"), which clearly defines the protection goals of wild animals and plants, that is, to protect the authenticity, integrity and connectivity of the natural ecosystem and important species habitats in the Qinling area, minimize the damage to the habitat of major engineering projects, and maintain the ecological balance. Strengthen the conservation of biological species diversity, the number of rare and endangered wild animals and plants has risen steadily, and the habitats of important species have remained stable.
In terms of in-situ conservation, the "Plan" proposes to carry out scientific research and dynamic monitoring of key protected wild animals such as giant pandas, golden snub-nosed monkeys, crested ibises, antelopes, giant salamanders, rescue protection and restoration of wild populations, and implement measures such as artificial population breeding and seasonal feeding to protect the diversity of wild animal species.
