Literally, the local market sells not only pure horse meat, but also the horse's internal organs (liver, stomach and even intestines). And the most important thing is the human heart!
There are several reasons.
First, the horse's heart is the part with the highest hemoglobin content in animals. Serdtsa recommends eating for people with anemia.
Second, the hearts are very large — even bigger than beef , so their finished products are highly produced. You can cook them in different ways – for example, just boil the broth or sauté them with onions and spices. Both are very tasty.
Third, some of the more "additional" characteristics of the horse's heart are distinguished according to the sex of the animal. Kyrgyz believe that the heart of a horse gives strength to men, so men buy it.
But the horse's heart— which is a little smaller in size — is believed to work well on the female reproductive system. For example, when a family plans to have children, both husband and wife can engage in a "horse heart diet."
Of course, I myself can't verify these "magical" properties of Ma Xin. But I can say two things with certainty – they're sold in the market, and indeed a lot. And the taste - fried horse hearts are really delicious.
By the way, the heart of the horse is also cheap. The price of 1 kg is 220 som (about 150 rubles). Therefore, it is not surprising that this product is no less popular than pure meat.
