This is not the shooting scene of some disaster movie, this is the Middle Eastern country of Syria.
Once upon a time, life was in full swing, children were running in the streets, street vendors were selling sweets, and everyone was doing their own thing. A sudden Civil War in Syria has changed everything here.
In early 2011, anti-government demonstrations erupted in Syria, which have since escalated into the Syrian civil war. When war comes, it is like a demon coming to earth and beating the whole of Syria to pieces.
In 2012, major Western news outlets filmed post-war Syria on the spot. Damascus, Aleppo, Homs, Deir Ezzor, etc., these ancient cities that carry history and human civilization have become unrecognizable in war.
The intensity of modern warfare is far from being comparable to that of traditional warfare. Unfortunately, human stupidity, cruelty and ignorance know no bounds in modern society. The war turned Syria's cities into ruins, and the world's oldest country nearly disappeared from the earth in a few years.
More than a decade later, but syria's civil war is still not over, when will it be the end? I'm afraid only God knows.
