A female writer who abandons her pen from Rong
The owner of the tomb, named Xiao Minghua, was born in 1922 in Jiaxing County, Zhejiang Province, and moved to Henan with his parents when he was young, where he studied at the Kaifeng Normal School of Henan Province, and then moved to Chongqing together due to the outbreak of the War of Resistance.
This kind of uncertain and turbulent and displaced days allowed Xiao Minghua to see the cruelty of war from an early age, and also allowed her to plant a seed of anti-war resistance and national reunification in her heart.
During this period in Chongqing, Xiao Minghua did not give up studying, she graduated from Chongqing Normal School and Baisha National Women's Normal School, and the advanced ideas she came into contact with here also laid the groundwork for her subsequent revolutionary road.
In 1945, after Japan's unconditional surrender, Xiao Ming studied literature in North China and met Zhu Fangchun, a famous educator whom he had known as early as Chongqing, at the Beiping Normal Academy.
Zhu Fangchun was obviously a professor at the school at this time, but in fact he was a communist party member, and Xiao Minghua gradually realized the necessity of revolution in this learning atmosphere, and slowly moved closer to the Communist Party ideologically.

But in fact, Xiao Minghua did not choose to go to the literary world, but under the influence of Zhu Fangchun, he abandoned his pen and went from the literary world to the "underground" and became an espionage officer.
This choice is inseparable from her experience as a child, and it is also inseparable from the environment of the times.
At that time, the Kuomintang was running amok and overbearing, and in the fish and meat townships, the US military even bullied the girls of Peking University.
In the handling of this matter, the United States not only released the perpetrators, but even put forward the statement that "the victims are guilty", which instantly ignited the anger of the people.
Mathematicians took to the streets to demonstrate to get justice for the victimized girls, and they shouted: Only those who are cold and bloody are not angry! Serviles do not resist! They demanded an apology from the U.S. military and get out of China.
Xiao Minghua, who was in the midst of the wave at that time, naturally understood the humiliation suffered by the girl, and also saw clearly the ugly faces of the Kuomintang and the US military in this matter, and understood even more clearly the truth that only the Communist Party could save China.
So, at the age of 24, she made a choice between the state and the individual: to devote herself to the revolution that saved the poor and to contribute her light and heat to the liberation of the country.
For Xiao Minghua's choice, although Zhu Fangchun was moved, she also knew the danger.
He told Xiao Minghua that underground intelligence work not only requires personal agility and strict implementation, but also an unwavering will. You must know that once you devote yourself to this, you will be regarded by the enemy as a thorn in the eye and a thorn in the flesh.
Xiao Minghua grew up in the fires of war, and during his studies, he heard news from the outside world every day, and learned about the sacrifices of revolutionary fighters and the results of victory.
It was only when she understood the mission of the Communists, the necessity of national reunification, that she had brought herself into it.
She wasn't afraid of sacrifice, but she was afraid of dying senselessly. Only the revolutionary road to liberate all of China is her choice worthy of heaven and earth and her parents.
Under the influence of Zhu Fangchun, Xiao Minghua became a communist party member and an underground intelligence worker.
At first, Xiao Minghua's work did not go well, which was related to her experience and network.
But she herself often felt deeply remorseful for this, and suffered from the inability to make a greater contribution to the revolution.
It wasn't until eve of 1948 that her chance finally came.
Went to Taiwan to teach
In September 1947, Xiao Minghua received a letter from Taiwan from Tai Jingnong, director of the Department of Chinese Literature at National Taiwan University, who was also her teacher in Chongqing.
Tai Jingnong's meaning is very clear, he values Xiao Minghua's talent and knowledge, and wants her to come to Taiwan to teach and contribute to the cause of education.
However, Xiao Minghua had already decided to devote herself to revolutionary work before, and now let her abandon the revolution and go to Taiwan, which naturally deviated from the previous concept, but Tai Jingnong was her charity.
Between the dilemmas, Zhu Fangchun gave the answer - the liberation of Taiwan is also a revolutionary task, and this is not impossible for Xiao Minghua.

During the teaching process, Xiao Minghua personally felt the lack of Taiwanese students' culture of the motherland during the Japanese colonial period, and also strengthened her determination to improve the situation in Taiwan.
She prepares lessons during the day and corrects homework at night, using only her free time to gather intelligence.
Although this kind of life is difficult, for a communist, just a little increase in the progress of the task is enough to make people excited, and Xiao Minghua has done a very good job in the process.
With her excellent literary skills, she quickly won the recognition of teachers and students of the school, integrated into the collective life, and learned a lot about Taiwanese students' views on the reunification of the motherland and their understanding of the current situation.
In order to assist Xiao Minghua in his work, his superiors also transferred Zhu Fangchun to Taiwan, playing Xiao Minghua's husband under the pseudonym "Yu Fei" to avoid people's eyes and ears.
In June 1949, the intelligence organization in Taiwan received the task of obtaining intelligence from the Taiwan military at all costs.
After learning of this, Xiao Minghua disregarded his physical condition and under the pressure of high loads, in the two months from December 1949 to January 1950, he transmitted important information to the mainland six times, which played a key role in the liberation of the southeast coast.
At this time, Chiang Kai-shek had fled to Taiwan and began preparations for a counter-offensive on the mainland.
He not only confiscated all the assets left by the Japanese army, but also began a large-scale search of Communist party personnel to exclude dissidents, and Xiao Minghua and other underground intelligence workers were in danger.
On February 4, 1950, Xiao Minghua's home broke into two strangers who searched their homes for suspicious places under the pretext of inviting "Yu Fei" to give a speech.
Although they did not identify themselves, Xiao Minghua was already vigilant.
In order not to arouse the suspicion of the two, she not only set up a banquet at home, but also cleared her own suspicions under the maneuver.
In desperation, the two Kuomintang agents could only return in defeat.
After sending the two away, Xiao Minghua made contact with Zhu Fangchun and passed on the last piece of information before his death.
When some comrades learned of this, they advised her to go out to avoid the wind, but Xiao Minghua knew that as long as she left, not only would she be exposed, but other intelligence personnel, including Zhu Fangchun, would also be in danger.
So for the safety of her comrades and the country's grand plan, she waited at home for the arrival of the wind and rain.
Two days later, the enemy broke into Xiao Minghua's home again.
At this time, Xiao Minghua had already anticipated what would happen later, but in order to send a warning signal, she calmly collected the clothes on the bamboo pole outside the house under the eyes of the enemy.
"Bamboo poles are nothing, do not enter in danger."

Before leaving, Xiao Minghua took out the comb sent by his mother and also showed his determination to die heroically.
She asked her fellow inmates who had suffered with her to read the "Summer Sentence" to her: Born as a master, dead as a ghost.
She said goodbye to her fellow prisoners, comrades, and the world on the execution ground: "Farewell forever, my brothers and sisters, may you be free as soon as possible!" ”
Xiao Minghua died heroically, only 28 years old.
