Descending from the top of the sacred wood,
One split is three, and the middle is all scorched.
But surprisingly
It's still towering,
Eight mighty winds, majestic in the mountains, unmatched.
It is worthy of the symbol and soul of Alishan.
Alpine blue, stream blue.
The girl of Alishan is as beautiful as water,
Alishan's youth is as strong as a mountain.
