How crazy is it for women to love beauty? In european history, a countess tortured and killed hundreds of maidens over the years, and then nourished her skin with their blood and stayed young forever.

Countess Elisabeth Barthori was born in medieval Hungary, and her fathers were highly powerful, with great wealth and high social status. In medieval Europe, servants were inferior and had no human rights, and powerful aristocrats like Elizabeth held all the power to kill and die.

At the age of 15, Elizabeth married Count Francis Nadas, who was also a nobleman, and had four sons and four daughters. Unfortunately, Count Nadas later fell ill and died on the way to war, and Elizabeth became a widow. But she was not willing to be lonely, often invited handsome young men to the castle, and also liked to attend some aristocratic banquets and hook up with high-society people. But after giving birth to eight children, Elizabeth's skin wrinkled, which annoyed her.

She asked the servants to lure some maidens to the castle, and in the basement she and the servants abused the maidens with needles and knives, and even hung the maidens on the beams of the house, cut her neck with a knife and bleed, showered directly with the blood, or simply drank it. Most of these maidens came from peasant families, as well as the daughters of some minor nobles, who killed hundreds of maidens over the years.

However, after the East Window Incident, the countess was not severely punished by the law, and because of her prominent status, she could not be executed, and finally was ordered by the king to be imprisoned in the castle for life, and her servants were sentenced to capital punishment.

There is a movie called "The Secret History of the Bloody Countess", based on this legend, which is a thriller, and those who are interested can check it out.
