Peony peony group hybrids are also known as Ito hybrids, Ito hybrid peonies, Ito peony, Ito peony, Ito peony. It is a distant hybrid of peony and peony, and is a group of distinctive and promising varieties that has developed in recent years after its birth in Japan in 1948. At present, there are more than 100 Ito hybrid varieties bred in the world, about 70 of which are listed for sale, and more than 60 of which have been introduced to the mainland, mainly from the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, France and Japan.
Ito hybrids have the characteristics of peony and peony, and the characteristics are even better than those of both parents, with novel appearance, rich flower color, late flowering, long flowering period, vigorous growth, strong resistance, wide adaptability, multi-purpose, low production cost, large development potential and other advantages. The main varieties introduced to the mainland in recent years are introduced as follows:
Yellow series
'Bartzella' flower chrysanthemum-rose type, lemon yellow, straight up, scented. Flowering occurs from late April to mid-May. The plant is compact, grows exceptionally strongly, and is rich in flowers. Suitable for cut flowers, potted plants and garden cultivation.
