North America
United States
As of June 12, passengers arriving in the U.S. by plane will no longer need to show a negative COVID-19 test. However, all non-citizen and non-resident travelers are required to present proof of full vaccination to enter the United States.
Hawaii has ended restrictions on domestic travelers. International entrants are still subject to U.S. government vaccination regulations.
At airports, on planes and on some other public transport, wearing a mask is optional. However, New York City still enforces its own public transportation mask requirement on subways, buses, and ride-sharing.
Canada
Travelers who have been fully vaccinated no longer need to show proof of a negative pre-trip test result, but will still need to complete the ArriveCan application or portal form within 72 hours and have a paper or electronic copy of the vaccination in hand ready to be requested (English or French document, or certified translation, together with the original).
Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated children under the age of 12 may enter Canada with a negative pre-trip test result if they are accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult, but their information must be submitted electronically via ArriveCan.
United States Virgin Islands
The U.S. Virgin Islands, which include St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix. International travellers, including those travelling by ferry from the British Virgin Islands, must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination. (Travelers aged 2-17 are exempt from vaccination.) ）
Masks must be worn when entering businesses and attractions and when using public transport. THE COVID-19 guidelines apply to retail businesses and attractions, taxis, station wagons and limousine services.
Caribbean
Antigua and Barbuda
Fully vaccinated passengers must present proof of vaccination, but it is no longer necessary to show proof of negative pre-travel test. However, if symptoms of a possible infection occur on arrival, PCR testing may be required at your own expense.
Partially vaccinated or unvaccinated passengers aged 18 years or older will need to present proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours or a rapid antigen test within 24 hours of arrival.
Unvaccinated minors between the ages of 5 and 18 need to show proof of negative results from a COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours or a rapid antigen test taken within 24 hours of arrival. Children under 5 years of age do not need to be tested.
Vaccination requirements are verifiable documents for full vaccination using two doses of COVID-19 vaccine or a single dose approved by the World Health Organization or the Ministry of Health, Health and Environment (completed 14 days or more prior to entry).
All arriving passengers are required to complete a health declaration and stay in a certified hotel, travelers must also adhere to social distancing guidelines, and masks are strongly recommended in crowded public places. Beaches and excursions are open; The restaurant is open for dine-in without the need for vaccination certificates.
Anguilla
Starting 8 August, all fully vaccinated travelers entering Anguilla will no longer be required to present the most recent negative pre-arrival test results upon entry.
The island has also changed entry requirements for unvaccinated travelers. Also starting August 8, unvaccinated travelers only need to provide the most recent negative pre-arrival COVID-19 test results; No quarantine or post-arrival testing is required.
Vaccinated passengers are exempt from providing pre-arrival test results by simply providing proof of full vaccination to the airline at check-in and upon arrival in Anguilla and St. Maarten.
Unvaccinated children under the age of 18 can enter Anguilla accompanied by a fully vaccinated parent or caregiver.
Bahamas
Traveler health visas have been cancelled and fully vaccinated travelers no longer need to be tested for Covid-19. However, all unvaccinated travelers 2 years of age and older are required to have a Negative Covid-19 test (RT-PCR negative or antigen test) no later than three days (72 hours) before travel and show a negative test result at check-in before travelling to the Bahamas.
In the Bahamas, all visitors are required to wear masks in public places. Travel between the Bahamas no longer requires a negative test and the night curfew has been lifted.
Barbados
As of 25 May, Barbados no longer requires fully vaccinated travelers to have a negative COVID-19 test before traveling to enter. Unvaccinated travelers will still need to undergo pre-trip testing and on-arrival testing, but from June 1, hotel isolation will no longer be required.
All fully vaccinated travelers must complete an online immigration and customs form (and download the BIMSafe app) within 24 hours of traveling to Barbados containing personal health issues related to COVID-19 symptoms and upload their COVID-19 negative test results. Provide official vaccination certificates.
All unvaccinated travelers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test certificate from an accredited laboratory within 72 hours of arrival, which is required for travelers 5 years of age and older. Within 24 hours of traveling to Barbados, complete an online immigration and customs form (and download the BIMSafe app) containing personal health issues related to COVID-19 symptoms and upload their COVID-19 negative test results.
Social distancing and masks must be maintained in public places. Beach time is now 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. for swimming or exercising.
Bermuda
Requires pre-travel authorization (fees from $75 to $40 from March 7) and testing. While the requirement for fully vaccinated travellers with proof of vaccination has been relaxed, unvaccinated visitors aged 12 years and over are currently not allowed to enter Bermuda. Unvaccinated children aged 11 years and under can enter with a fully vaccinated parent or guardian.
Before departure: Apply for a travel authorization to Bermuda. Present a certified negative COVID-19 PCR test or a negative antigen test taken within two days of arrival, along with proof of vaccination. Provide proof of health insurance. Fill out the passenger screening form and immigration card.
British Virgin Islands
Travelers who have not been vaccinated or partially vaccinated must be authorized to visit and are subject to strict protocols. Fully vaccinated travelers who can provide a valid vaccination certificate no longer need to register for an authorization on the BVI Gateway portal.
Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travelers must register on the BVI gateway prior to travel, download the app, complete the application no later than 24 hours before travel (the cost for partially or unvaccinated travelers is $175), and purchase health insurance. Upon arrival, a rapid antigen test must also be performed, and if the test result is negative, it is free to move; If you test positive, you must quarantine at the resort for five days, and if you test negative on the fifth day, you can exit the quarantine area (usually within 24 hours).
Cayman Islands
The requirement for pre-arrival testing for vaccinators will be lifted from Thursday, June 30. However, visitors to the Cayman Islands will still need to complete a travel declaration form and purchase insurance that covers COVID-19 at least 72 hours before travel. Children 11 years of age and younger will receive their parents' vaccination status.
Dominica
Since 4 April, immigration procedures have been greatly simplified. Visitors no longer need to fill out a pre-trip questionnaire, and fully vaccinated passengers only need to present proof of vaccination upon boarding and arrival in Dominica. Children 12 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Visitors who have not been fully vaccinated, including minors aged 13-17 years, must present proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours or a negative rapid antigen test under professional supervision within 48 hours of arrival.
Haiti
From 18 April, all passengers 12 years of age and older travelling to Haiti will need to present a vaccination card proving that they have been fully vaccinated, or a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test taken within 72 hours of boarding; Proof of previous infection with COVID-19 (positive test and attending physician's documentation) is also allowed. Passengers aged 5-11 only need to show a negative test result.
St. Barts
Fully vaccinated travelers can travel to St. Barth for a tour without the need for a pre-trip test. People 18 years of age and older planning to visit St. Barts must provide proof that they were given at least two weeks after their last vaccination against Pfizer, Moderna, or AstraZeneca, or at least four weeks after a shot from Johnson & Johnson. Children aged 12-17 years must be fully vaccinated if travelling alone.
Unvaccinated travelers must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test or a negative antigen test within 48 hours.
Passengers must also issue an affidavit indicating that they do not have any symptoms and that they are not aware of any contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case in the 14 days prior to the flight. Those arriving in St. Barth via St. Martin need to register in advance through the St. Martin Electronic Health Authorization System.
Saint Kitts and Nevis
Only fully vaccinated travelers are allowed to visit. Unvaccinated children under the age of 18 may enter the country accompanied by a fully vaccinated parent (two weeks or more after the last vaccination) without additional testing or isolation.
All travelers, regardless of age, must complete a boarding/entry form here no later than 24 hours prior to arrival and submit a negative COVID-19 PCR test by a CLIA/CDC/UKAS-approved laboratory within 72 hours of arrival, or a negative rapid antigen test at an approved laboratory within 24 hours of arrival. People who are 18 years of age or older (or younger and have been fully vaccinated) will also need to submit a vaccination certificate (official vaccination certificate) and a travel approval letter. A negative test result and a copy of the vaccination card are also required.
Saint Lucia
Fully vaccinated travelers no longer need to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test to enter St. Lucia; However, a valid vaccination record must be presented.
All unvaccinated travelers must still show a negative RT-PCR test taken five days prior to entering Saint Lucia.
All travelers are required to complete and hold a printed and signed St. Lucia Health Screening Form.
Fully vaccinated travelers (those who exceed the last dose for two weeks or more) can enter the island completely. All unvaccinated international visitors from outside the St. Lucia tourism "bubble" will be required to stay at their accredited hotels, participate only in accredited tours and activities, and only visit certified restaurants for the first 7 days of their stay.
If you are travelling with an unvaccinated child aged 5-17 and you want them to be exempted from quarantine as well, they will need to be re-tested on arrival at their own expense, and they must remain in isolation (24-48 hours) until results are available. Once the test is negative, they will not need to isolate.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
As of June 13, fully vaccinated travelers will no longer need to fill out a health form or provide a negative pre-trip test result.
Unvaccinated travelers must have a negative COVID-19 antigen test or a negative PCR within 72 hours of arrival and meet with a port health officer upon arrival to complete a port health form; It is also possible to be tested again upon arrival and must be quarantined for 5 days at a transit/quarantine hotel approved by the Tourist Board and tested between days 3 and 4.
Sint Maarten
Fully vaccinated travelers no longer need to pre-test into St. Maarten as long as they have proof of full vaccination or full vaccination and injection of booster doses at least two weeks prior to arrival. Travelers with proof of COVID-19 rehabilitation in the past nine months also do not require pre-trip testing.
Unvaccinated travelers 5 years of age and older must present proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 48 hours of travel; Negative rapid antigen testing within 24 hours is also allowed.
Children under 5 years of age do not need to take the test.
In addition to purchasing the St. Martin Visitor Protection Program, all travelers traveling to St. Maarten must apply online for a pre-authorized health form, which provides health insurance that covers COVID-19 testing and treatment on the island. The program is free for travelers under the age of 14 and $15 for others. Passengers should undergo a health check upon arrival.
Trinidad and Tobago
All travelers no longer need to apply for a TTravel Pass, but as of July 1, all travelers will still need to show proof of vaccination.
Turks and Caicos
The Turks and Caicos Islands now requires all travelers aged 18 or over to be fully vaccinated, with vaccines currently approved being Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, and others.
As of May 1, travelers to Turks and Caicos will no longer be required to show a COVID-19 negative pre-trip test certificate, but will need to show proof of travel medical insurance or obtain a pre-travel authorization. Masks are no longer required in public places.
Europe
By mid-June, more than 20 countries had eliminated all COVID-19-related traveler entry requirements. They include: United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Hungary, Montenegro, Romania, Denmark, Iceland, Czech Republic, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Greece, Cyprus, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Albania, Armenia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Serbia, Belarus, Turkey, Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Portugal, Malta, France.
Azerbaijan
Fly to Azerbaijan. Land entry is not permitted, and all travelers over the age of 18 must have proof of vaccination or rehabilitation (testing requirements have been removed since 14 April).
As of May 1, masks will no longer be required.
Luxembourg
Fully vaccinated travellers are again allowed to enter Luxembourg, and those arriving by air from a Schengen area country who have not been vaccinated can board board with evidence of a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours or a rapid antigen test within 48 hours.
Masks and CovidCheck are no longer required to enter bars, restaurants and shops (hospitals and nursing homes only), but are required to wear masks when travelling on public transport.
Monaco
Travellers over the age of 11 who have been fully vaccinated can travel to Monaco with proof of full vaccination (if more than 9 months, people aged 18 and over need to be immunized) and do not need to undergo pre-travel testing (children under 12 years of age are exempt from the test). Travelers must also sign an oath proving that they are asymptomatic and have not had contact with an infected person.
Unvaccinated travellers aged 12 years and older in Green Country can also visit Monaco again within 48 hours of boarding with proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test or a negative antigen test within 72 hours of boarding. The requirement for random antigen testing and self-isolation for 7 days on arrival has ended.
Netherlands
The Netherlands is the only country in Europe that still does not allow unvaccinated people outside the EU to enter the country.
As of 12 July, all passengers from outside the EU/Schengen area will be barred from entering the country, except those who can produce proof of vaccination or who can prove that they have fully recovered from COVID-19.
Children under the age of 18 can enter the country without vaccination if accompanied by a fully vaccinated parent or legal guardian.
Russia
The Russian government requires all foreign travelers to present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result on arrival, dated within two days of arrival in Russia, and to complete a digital form that must be printed and submitted to Russian customs.
Spain
Visitors must be fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to arrival, with the last dose not exceeding 270 days prior to arrival, or at least 14 days prior to entry. Travelers who have not been fully vaccinated must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours of their flight to Spain or a negative antigen test within 24 hours of departure. Passengers who have recovered from COVID-19 in the last 180 days can provide proof of rehabilitation.
Unvaccinated children under the age of 12 may enter the country accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult.
All travelers must present the QR code generated through the Spanish Tourism Health Portal upon arrival in Spain. The Spanish government requires all passengers coming to Spain from abroad without an EU digital COVID certificate to complete the health control form section, including international transit, through the Spanish Health Portal at least 48 hours before departure to the country. You can start filling out the form at any time before your trip, excluding the section that is limited to two days before your arrival. Both the form and the associated QR code are required for entry.
Ukraine
Due to the fierce and ongoing armed war with Russia inside Ukraine, the government's state of emergency and COVID-19, travel to Ukraine is not recommended at this time.
Central America
Guatemala
Passengers must comply with one of the following requirements: If they are at least 12 years of age, provide proof of receiving two complete doses of COVID-19 vaccination (or one dose of Johnson & Johnson vaccination), the last dose of which is given at least two weeks before traveling to Guatemala; Or, if you are 10 years of age or older, no more than three days before check-in at the airport or arrive at the land border, you have a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test from an accredited laboratory.
Upon arrival, travelers must pass through health checkpoints and masks are required in some public places.
Honduras
Visitors entering must complete and print a government registration form and present an original vaccination certificate or proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR or rapid antigen test within 72 hours (at the airport). An affidavit is also required and the customs form is completed.
Masks are required in all public places. Individuals who leave the home after 10 p.m. must bring a COVID-19 vaccination card. Bars and nightclubs remain closed.
Nicaragua
Nicaragua never really closed. There was never any stay-at-home order or social distancing order.
Travelers may enter Nicaragua but should be prepared for additional health checks and may be asked to show a negative COVID-19 test result for 72 hours. Anyone entering Nicaragua from a country known to be at risk of yellow fever must also present a yellow fever vaccination certificate at least 10 days prior to arrival.
All travelers are currently required to submit an online health affidavit, and unvaccinated travelers 17 years of age or older must present a negative COVID-19 test.
Travelers who have been fully vaccinated for at least two weeks can present their vaccination certificate to avoid testing.
Panama
All unvaccinated travelers arriving in Panama must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test taken within the last 72 hours. Any unvaccinated traveler who fails to get a negative coronavirus test within that time frame can have a COVID-19 rapid antigen test at the airport upon arrival (costs $50), but if the result is positive, they must quarantine at a hotel. Children under the age of 17 who are accompanied by an adult do not need to show a vaccination certificate or a negative test certificate.
Masks are required in indoor public places.
South America
Bolivia
Bolivia's entry rules have recently changed, and travelers to Bolivia, regardless of their country of origin, are now required to present a COVID-19 vaccination certificate or submit a certified COVID-19 PCR negative test or a 48-hour negative antigen test within 72 hours (except for children 5 years of age and younger).
Masks are required in all public places and social distancing rules have been established.
Brazil
Fully vaccinated tourists are currently welcome, and while Brazil no longer requires proof of health insurance to enter the country, we recommend that all travelers purchase insurance before traveling.
The pre-trip negative COVID-19 test for all vaccinated travelers aged 12 years and older who arrived in Brazil by air was cancelled on April 1. Unvaccinated travelers must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test or a negative laboratory antigen test taken within 24 hours of boarding.
Fully vaccinated passengers traveling to Brazil aged 12 years and older must present proof of full vaccination to their airline. It can be electronic or printed, but does not accept proof in the form of a QR code only.
Colombia
As of May 1, all visitors 18 years of age and older will need to provide proof of full vaccination, or a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours or a negative antigen test within 24 hours of departure to Colombia.
All visitors are currently required to complete the online pre-travel check-in form "Check-Mig" within 72 hours of their flight.
All arriving passengers over the age of 3 in Ecuador are now required to present proof of vaccination demonstrating that they have completed COVID-19 vaccination (at least 14 days prior to travel) or a PCR test taken within 72 hours of boarding. All visitors must also complete an online health declaration form.
The requirements for the Galapagos Islands are now the same as those for entering Ecuador; Passengers who have not been fully vaccinated can use the same PCR test results if they connect directly to the Galapagos Islands upon arrival in Ecuador and the test results are still valid within the prescribed 72-hour period when boarding the flight to the Galapagos Islands. If not or beyond, travelers need to test again in Ecuador. Travelers to the Galapagos Islands will also need a "salvoconducto" (traffic control card) provided by their travel agent, please contact the tour operator directly to obtain this document.
Guyana
All travelers 12 years of age and older must present proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (at least two weeks after the last injection).
As of July 1, Guyana no longer requires pre-travel COVID-19 testing for arrivals. However, most travelers must still show proof that they have been fully vaccinated. Travelers who have not been fully vaccinated must also provide a negative result of a PCR or antigen COVID-19 test no later than 72 hours prior to arrival.
All pandemic-related restrictions in the country have been lifted.
Paraguay
All people 12 years of age and older must present proof of full vaccination, while unvaccinated people 12 years of age and older must show proof of a negative RT-PCR/LAMP/NAAT test taken within 72 hours of boarding.
Peru
Testing is required for all unvaccinated tourists entering the country (and most public transport and businesses), and the country's health emergency has been extended until 28 August.
All passengers 12 years of age and older must present a vaccination certificate or a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 48 hours (children under 12 years of age can only board asymptomatically) and complete an online electronic health affidavit and authorization via Migraciones geolocation.
All passengers over the age of 18 travelling by land or air in Peru using commercial transportation must present a vaccination certificate or a negative test within 48 hours. As of 28 February, all people aged 40 and over must present proof of vaccination with a booster.
Uruguay
Vaccinated travelers will need proof of vaccination, but a negative pre-trip test is no longer required.
Unvaccinated travelers will need a negative PCR test within 72 hours of starting their trip and an additional PCR test 7 days after arrival (travelers will be charged $100), or they will need to completely self-isolate for 14 days. (Except for those under 6 years old.) ）
All passengers will be screened for temperature at the port of entry.
All foreign travelers entering Uruguay require proof of health insurance valid for the duration of your stay in Uruguay.
A signed health declaration needs to be completed within 48 hours of starting travel.
Venezuela
All arriving passengers must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 48 hours (subject to change). A health check will be conducted on arrival, but isolation is not required at this time.
Asia
Bangladesh
Bangladesh requires international visitors to be fully vaccinated or show a negative COVID-19 test result. A passenger health declaration form must be completed within three days of traveling to Bangladesh. Fully vaccinated travelers are not required to show proof of a negative pre-trip test, but unvaccinated or partially vaccinated people 12 years of age and older must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours of traveling to Bangladesh.
Cambodia
Fully vaccinated travelers do not need to undergo pre-travel testing. The new rules allow travelers to visit anywhere in the country while complying with entry rules.
International travelers who have not been vaccinated or partially vaccinated must undergo a rapid antigen test upon arrival for a $5 per person, and if the result is negative, they can continue their journey immediately. If the result is positive, if the health condition is mild, isolation must be carried out at the hotel or at home. If the health condition is serious, the cost of hospitalization will need to be paid by the traveler.
All travelers must also obtain a visa to enter the country and are encouraged to purchase COVID-19 health insurance that is valid in Cambodia.
Hong Kong
Persons entering Hong Kong from any overseas location outside greater China (including Taiwan) must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have a recognised vaccination record. And people over the age of 3 must show a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 48 hours of boarding.
Visitors from the Mainland and Macau are divided into three categories. Persons entering Hong Kong under the Return2hk or Come2hk scheme are exempt from quarantine. (For details, please refer to the Hong Kong Government website: Come2hk Plan and Return2hk Plan.) Non-Hong Kong residents can participate in the Come2hk program.
Transit passengers are allowed from 1 April. Transit passengers cannot leave the airport.
India
All international passengers aged 5 and over must upload a negative COVID-19 PCR test result or a vaccination certificate proving that they have been fully vaccinated to the Air Suvidha portal within 72 hours of travel and submit a self-declaration form detailing their travel over the past 14 days 72 hours before starting their trip to India.
Passengers may be tested again upon arrival (randomly selected 2%) and must be self-monitored for 14 days. Some provinces may have different rules.
Indonesia
The health requirements of travelers to Indonesia from July 17 have changed again. The 3rd dose of vaccine is now the standard for entry procedures by air, sea and land.
If the vaccination is completed (3 doses), no test is required. If the vaccine is given in only 2 doses, travelers must present a negative PCR test of less than 72 hours or a negative antigen test of less than 24 hours. If the vaccine includes only one dose of the vaccine (Johnson & Johnson), travelers must submit a negative PCR test result within 72 hours.
Children between the ages of 6 and 17 must also present proof of vaccination. If the vaccination is two doses, they will not need to be tested for antigens or PCR. If only one dose of the vaccine is given, a negative PCR test within 72 hours is required.
As a reminder, children under the age of six do not need to show proof of vaccination.
Travelers will be checked for symptoms upon arrival and may be tested if their body temperature is above 37. All travelers must also purchase valid international health insurance and download the PeduliLindungi app.
Travelers must also have a short-term visa or other entry permit; Visa on arrival is available again.
A full vaccination certificate is also required for domestic flights.
Japan
Visitors are welcome from 10 June – but only for guided group tours.
According to the regulations of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the basic rules for travelers to Japan are: including vaccination certificate (to strengthen the needle) and medical insurance certificate. Submit a certificate of negative PCR test within 72 hours of departure. Visitors must sign a written "commitment" indicating that they will comply with all health regulations (including wearing a mask) or risk being punished with detention or deportation. Visitors must download a health and tracking app to use during the trip.
Laos
From 9 May, fully vaccinated international travelers can enter Laos but must apply for a visa.
Nepal
All passengers arriving by air can now obtain a visa on arrival without quarantine (proof of vaccination or a negative test result within 72 hours).
Pakistan
Vaccinated people can enter Pakistan with proof of full vaccination, while unvaccinated people over the age of 12 must present a negative PCR result within 72 hours if they have a medical exemption certificate.
Travelers will also need to download and install the Pass Track app.
There are almost no COVID-19 restrictions remaining and there is currently no curfew.
Philippines
Travelers who have been fully vaccinated must complete a BOQ Electronic Health Declaration Card to receive a QR code, as well as a valid COVID-19 care health insurance ($35,000) in the Philippines and must self-monitor for symptoms within 7 days of arrival and report symptoms to local authorities if they develop symptoms of COVID-19.
Children under 12 years of age are exempt from vaccination requirements.
Singapore
Travelers must complete an electronic SG Entry Card and upload a digitally verifiable vaccination certificate within 72 hours of travel. Fully vaccinated adults and accompanying children 12 years of age and younger no longer need to provide pre-departure COVID-19 test results; However, anyone 13 years of age and older who has not been vaccinated or partially vaccinated in order to obtain entry authorization must present a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test within two days of departure to Singapore.
All visitors must also install and activate the TraceTogether mobile app.
Korea
As of June 8, quarantine requirements have been lifted for all travelers, regardless of their vaccination status.
All travelers must register a Q code prior to travel, and travelers over the age of 6 must submit a negative PCR test within 48 hours of departure or have a supervised antigen test at a clinic or hospital within 24 hours of departure. PCR testing must also be performed within three days of arrival; Rapid antigen testing is also recommended 6-7 days after arrival.
Sri Lanka
All travelers can visit without quarantine and require a valid tourist visa and mandatory local health insurance ($12 a month). People who have been fully vaccinated no longer need to have a negative pre-trip test, and unvaccinated travelers must provide proof that they have tested negative for COVID-19 PCR within 72 hours or negative for antigen within 48 hours. They also have to test again upon arrival.
Tajikistan
A Tajik visa is required to enter (and government permission is required if you want to enter through the land border), and people three years of age and older must present proof of COVID-19 vaccination or test negative for COVID-19 PCR within 72 hours of boarding a flight to Dushanbe International Airport (DYU).
The government of Tajikistan has frequently adjusted its entry and exit requirements in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and will not immediately address them to the public.
Thailand
Travelers who have been fully vaccinated must have proof of vaccination with an approved vaccine, and the last dose of the vaccine must be given at least 14 days prior to arrival.
Travelers who have not been vaccinated or partially vaccinated must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours.
Masks are worn voluntarily.
Turkmenistan
Turkmenistan claims to have no cases of COVID-19. Anyone seeking entry into Turkmenistan must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test and a serological certificate confirming the presence of antibodies, both of which must be collected within 48 hours of boarding. All travelers will also undergo a PCR test upon arrival ($44).
The Government of Turkmenistan can change quarantine requirements and arrival procedures with little to no prior notice.
Bhutan
From July 4, Bhutan will maintain domestic COVID-19 restrictions. However, international travel restrictions have been relaxed. Most international entrants no longer need to quarantine for five days; The exemption applies to all entrants who hold a vaccination certificate (if they are over the age of 5) or have recovered from COVID-19 infection in the last six months. Arrivals must be tested for RT-PCR upon arrival and quarantined at home or at a hotel until a negative result is obtained; The quarantine period is typically 24 hours. Travelers who test positive must self-isolate at their accommodation for five days; Exit isolation does not require repeating the test.
Oceania
Polynesia
The Tahiti Islands are now open to all visitors, regardless of vaccination status.
Travelers to French Polynesia who have been vaccinated must receive a booster injection if their last dose of the vaccine is more than 9 months before the date of travel.
Unvaccinated travelers (green areas) can also travel, but anyone over the age of 12 must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours or a negative antigen test within 48 hours.
Travelers must also complete and print an online sworn statement. More information is available on the Air Tahiti Nui website.
As of March 14, the mandatory wearing of masks has been abolished, but they are still required on public transport. Travelers who develop symptoms during their stay are required to self-report and self-isolate in their room until further instructions from local emergency responders.
Fiji
From 1 December 2021, Fiji began allowing fully vaccinated travelers from selected countries to travel. It was then reopened on April 7 for fully vaccinated travellers from all countries.
To enter Fiji, fully vaccinated travelers aged 16 and over will need to show proof of full vaccination, but the COVID-19 test requirement has been removed before departure. Children under the age of 16 who are accompanied by a vaccinated adult do not need to be vaccinated, and children 11 years of age and younger are exempt from testing.
Fiji currently accepts AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Coronavac (Sinovac), Covishield, BBIBP-CorV (Sinopharm), Covaxin and Sputnik V.
As of April 7, travelers 12 years of age and older must book a rapid antigen test within 72 hours of arrival at the hotel or nearby testing facility. Travel health insurance for COVID-19 is also required in Fiji.
Tonga
Inbound commercial flights have been allowed to resume as of July 19, with international flights departing from Australia, Fiji and New Zealand. In addition, the government will lift quarantines on inbound travelers from August 1, but entry restrictions remain in place.
Nauru
As of July 22, Nauru continues to ease restrictions on COVID-19. The government has lifted stay-at-home orders but encouraged residents to stay home as much as possible. Up to 5 people can come from different families at family gatherings and up to 20 people can be held in public gatherings. Starting July 24, the church service can allow 50 participants, starting with 30 people, and churches need to open windows and collect contact information for participants. Students in Grades 11 and 12 can return to school from July 25.
Most non-essential businesses can be restored; Bars and gaming venues remain closed. Dine-in service is available at the restaurant, which can accommodate up to 20 people.
The government allows a number of important international flights, mainly through Brisbane, Australia. The government requires travelers aged 12 and over to be fully vaccinated. Inbound travelers must be tested for COVID-19 and complete a health declaration form within 72 hours of departure. Rapid Antigen Testing (RAT) must be performed on arrival.
Travelers entering the country must self-isolate at their accommodation or home until they receive a PCR test result the day after arrival. People who test negative can exit quarantine, but must receive a RAT if they develop any symptoms of COVID-19 within the next 7 days. Inbound travelers who receive a positive RAT or PCR test result must self-isolate at a designated location (which may be their residence) for at least 10 days, or until approved by a health official. People who test positive are not allowed to leave the country within 13 days of being diagnosed; Departing passengers must also be asymptomatic within three days. Exceptions may be made to persons who have obtained a certificate of rehabilitation from health authorities.
New Zealand
All foreign travelers aged 17 and over require full vaccination. The current vaccination approval rules are sufficient for one country.
Anyone authorized to travel to New Zealand must obtain a New Zealand e-Travel Authorization, complete a New Zealand Traveller Declaration, cancel pre-departure testing and no longer need to self-isolate upon arrival. However, two rapid antigen tests are required on the 0/1st and 5/6th days after arrival.
Middle East
Lebanon
All unvaccinated travelers over the age of 12 to Lebanon must present a negative PCR or rapid antigen test result within 48 hours prior to boarding to enter the country. All unvaccinated passengers must now also undergo a PCR test upon arrival at Beirut Airport and not go out (24 hours) until a negative result is received.
The government no longer mandates the wearing of masks, but individual businesses and institutions may have their own requirements.
Qatar
Have been fully vaccinated (if 12 years of age or older) or recovered from COVID-19 without a five-day quarantine.
All travelers must register prior to travel, download the Ehteraz mobile app, upload their vaccination certificate if they have been vaccinated, and be tested for COVID-19 PCR within 48 hours of travel. Those who have been fully vaccinated (14 days after the last dose but within 9 months) can now be exempted from isolation.
Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travelers must complete all of the above (register and undergo a pre-trip PCR test within 48 hours of travel), then undergo home isolation or quarantine for 5 days at a hotel booked through the Discover Qatar website, and take a rapid antigen test on day 5 to end the isolation.
United Arab Emirates
As of 26 February, the UAE no longer requires PCR testing for fully vaccinated or recovered visitors. Passengers who have been vaccinated only need to present a vaccine certificate with an approved QR code. Otherwise, a negative test is still required.
Unvaccinated travelers may enter the UAE, but "must present a negative PCR test result within 48 hours or a certificate of recovery for COVID-19 infection with a QR code obtained within one month of the date of travel."
In Abu Dhabi, travelers must download the Al Hosn app to streamline the vaccination and testing process and access most public places and attractions. Visitors must obtain a negative PCR test every 14 days to keep the Green Pass valid.
Yemen, Syria
Travel is not recommended due to terrorism, civil unrest, health risks, kidnapping, armed conflict and other issues.
Iraq
Travelers entering or leaving Iraq must present proof of vaccination against COVID-19. Individuals who are unable to be vaccinated for health reasons must provide a medical report approved by the health authorities and have a negative PCR test within 72 hours of flight departure. The measure applies to all airports in the country, including those of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).
Africa
Botswana
Fully vaccinated people can enter without testing; Unvaccinated people must provide proof that the COVID-19 PCR test was negative within 72 hours.
Ghana
All people 18 years of age and older arriving in Ghana must provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination. Ghanaian citizens and foreign residents who are not fully vaccinated are required to provide a negative PCR result for no more than 48 hours, receive an antigen test upon arrival in Ghana, and be vaccinated upon arrival.
Ghana's Ministry of Public Health has ended its mandate to use masks in public places, but still recommends social distancing and good hand hygiene.
Kenya
All visitors need to obtain an e-visa, fill out a mandatory online health form (to obtain a QR code to scan on arrival) and hold a valid vaccination certificate, or if not vaccinated (and over 5 years old), a PCR test within 72 hours is required. Upload vaccination and test result files in Global Haven. Passengers are also subjected to a health check and a rapid antigen test ($30) upon arrival.
The Kenya Ministry of Health launched the Trusted Travel Initiative; The QR code is used for arriving passengers and the TT code is used for departing passengers. Travelers can obtain TT codes and their test results from accredited laboratories at any major hospital. Everyone leaving Kenya is required to present a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours of departure.
Masks are no longer mandatory in public, but are recommended for indoor activities.
Malawi
As of June 1, travelers who can present a digital COVID-19 vaccination certificate no longer need to have a pre-trip PCR test to enter.
Those who are unable to present a certificate can get the COVID-19 vaccine, which is provided free of charge. Anyone who refuses to be vaccinated will be subjected to 10 days of institutional isolation at their own expense.
Morocco
Anyone 12 years of age and older needs a vaccination certificate, and travelers must step up their vaccination if the second vaccination is more than four months in advance. Proof of a negative PCR test within 72 hours (except for children 6 years of age and younger). Fill out a health form. Rapid antigen detection after arrival of random passengers.
Mozambique
As of July 19, the public disaster status associated with COVID-19 has been lifted. Masks must still be worn in all enclosed spaces and on public transport.
International Travel Restrictions
- Vaccinated travelers must present a complete electronically verifiable proof of the vaccine schedule to enter the country. The last dose of the vaccine must be given at least 14 days prior to arrival. It is unclear whether the injection needs to be intensified.
- Unvaccinated international travelers arriving in Mozambique must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours of departure to the country. Exceptions are made for children under five years of age. PCR testing must be validated by the Trusted Travel Initiative.
- For travellers arriving in Mozambique via land border crossings, negative test results are valid for 7 days, allowing multiple entries or short-term return journeys.
- Passengers who test positive or fail to provide a negative test result must self-isolate for 7 days.
Namibia
Travelers who are able to provide proof of full vaccination at the time of entry do not need to be tested before arrival. Travelers without a vaccination certificate must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours. All visitors are required to complete a health questionnaire.
Only COVID-19 test certificates validated from the Trusted Travel platform or on the Global Haven system will be valid for entry and exit to Namibia. For smooth entry, passengers are also advised to bring a paper copy of all COVID-19 test results to the airport or departure port as a backup of your certificate.
Nigeria
International passengers 18 years of age and older must have verifiable proof of full vaccination or, if not vaccinated or partially vaccinated, must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 48 hours of departure. All international visitors register and upload test results or vaccination certificates through the Nigeria International Travel Portal before travelling.
In addition, all unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travelers must undergo an additional COVID-19 PCR test on days 2 and 7 after arrival (they must register beforehand and pay for a QR code).
Rwanda
All arriving passengers must present a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen result (children under 5 years of being exempt from testing) within 72 hours (three days) of leaving Rwanda. Antigen testing on arrival has stopped.
Rwanda also offers visas on arrival for all nationalities.
All major national parks in the country are open, but according to the Rwanda Biomedical Center, national parks are subject to COVID-19 testing. Testing can be performed at health facilities and other designated locations at a cost of 5,000 RWF (or US$5) for rapid antigen testing and 50,000 RWF (or US$ 50) for PCR testing (required for entry into Virunga National Park).
Masks are no longer required in public places across the country, but masks are recommended.
Sierra Leone
As of July 20, COVID-19-related testing was cancelled for vaccinated travelers upon arrival. Domestic measures remain unchanged.
Individuals must present proof of vaccination to enter public facilities, sports venues, hotels, bars and restaurants. Public gatherings, including weddings and receptions, may resume once strict hygiene protocols are in place. Vaccinated people are no longer mandatory to wear masks in public places.
International travel restrictions All entry and exit restrictions, passengers must register on the travel portal. Unvaccinated arrival and departure travelers must book an arrival and departure test through an online travel form. Testing must be performed within 48 hours of leaving Sierra Leone. People who test positive on arrival in Sierra Leone will be quarantined in government-approved facilities.
Under the same health agreement mentioned above, the country's land borders are open to international traffic.
Senegal
Senegal requires travelers over the age of 2 to present a vaccination certificate with a QR code or an original negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate obtained within 72 hours of departure in Senegal, in English or French. All arrivals are also required to submit passenger locator forms. Arriving passengers will be subject to a health check.
Mandatory mask orders are still in effect in some public places.
Seychelles
All visitors are required to obtain travel authorization through the online portal and must present a valid travel and health insurance that covers at least isolation, quarantine and clinical care related to COVID-19.
Travelers who have been fully vaccinated (if the second dose of the vaccine was given 6 months ago, booster vaccinations for people 18 years of age and older) are no longer required to provide proof of PCR testing prior to travel. Unvaccinated people must present a negative result of the COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours of the flight and upload the test results to the online portal.
Visitors can only stay in hotels or liveaboards certified by public health authorities.
Mandatory outdoor mask wearing and temperature screening procedures at entry points in public places have been abolished. However, the public is still required to wear masks when travelling on public buses and other public transport such as taxis, boats and planes.
All travelers to Sierra Leone must register online to obtain a Sierra Leone entry number.
Travelers who have been fully vaccinated no longer need to be tested for covid-19 before travel or on arrival.
Partially vaccinated or unvaccinated travelers no longer need to show a negative pre-test certificate, but will be tested upon arrival and must pay online when registering a Sierra Leone entry number.
Proof of yellow fever vaccination is also required.
When leaving Sierra Leone, you will also need to provide your departure number and a negative test within 48-72 hours of departure.
Tanzania
Travelers who have been fully vaccinated are required to have a vaccination certificate containing a QR code and no longer need to show a certificate of negative pre-travel test, Tanzania currently requires all other travelers to show a negative COVID-19 PCR test containing a QR code within 72 hours of a flight to Tanzania or Zanzibar and to complete an online health monitor form within 24 hours of arrival to obtain a unique health code.
Travelers will be screened upon arrival and those from countries with high levels of COVID-19 will also undergo rapid testing upon arrival in Tanzania ($10; Zanzibar 25 US dollars).
Uganda
Passengers must apply online and obtain a visa approved by the Government of Uganda, as well as proof of full vaccination or a 72-hour negative PCR COVID-19 test at a laboratory recognized in their country of origin, and need to bring a paper copy of the vaccine certificate and test results.
The Ugandan government requires all departing passengers to produce proof of a negative PCR COVID-19 test or a certificate of full vaccination within 72 hours of departure. Even if there is no requirement in the destination country, all passengers departing Uganda must comply with this requirement.
Zambia
Require proof that you have been fully vaccinated or have tested negative for COVID-19 PCR within 72 hours of travel (except for travelers under the age of 12). A health check will be conducted on arrival and people with symptoms may need to be tested and/or self-isolate.
Zimbabwe
All travelers entering or leaving Zimbabwe must have a full vaccination certificate issued by an accredited body or a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 48 hours of departure to Zimbabwe, and the test must be verified by the Trusted Travel Initiative Platform or uploaded to the Global Haven website. Yellow fever vaccination is also required. All travelers leaving Zimbabwe must test negative within 48 hours of departure.
