In 2020, the Chengdu Municipal Park City Construction Administration Bureau, together with the Chengdu Bird Watching Association and other institutions, carried out the patrol and monitoring of chengdu biodiversity (birds) and wild animal epidemic source diseases. A total of more than 220 people participated in this work in 1972 person-times. A total of 335 species of wild birds and nearly 70,000 individual birds were recorded throughout the year.
Among them, 238 bird species were recorded in the summer and autumn seasons alone (July 1 to October 31), accounting for 71.04% (238/335) of the total number of species recorded in the whole year.
