There are 8 genera of the descendant ball subfamily: bare calyx ball, descendant ball, latex ball, snake pillar, guard pillar, light pillar, flower ornament ball (or merged into the offspring ball). There is no clear boundary between the cactus ball and the cactus pillar, both are collective names (the cactus ball is forced to change its name to the grass ball), and the species below are also staggered.
There are about 65 species in the genus Gymcalyx, native to the South American cactus bulb family. Common species include Crimson Jade, Xintiandi, and Red Ruiyun (Peony is a famous variety under it). Native to Argentina, the home is in the eastern slopes of the Andes Mountains in northwest Argentina, and it is one of the hottest cactus balls, and the only ones that can stand shoulder to shoulder with it may be grass balls, jade wongs, silver fingers, golden amber and a few others.
Crimson jade is still a little fragile, strong frost spikes in winter may be frostbitten, rainy in the rainy season may hang up. My family this one first experienced frostbite, rotten, dug up to survive, last year's rainy season has been disabled state casual rain nothing, but grew a thick layer of moss no care (local annual precipitation of about 2000mm), this year's rainy season suddenly dripped, raised for 4 years, only some flowering photos remained.
