The deeds and spirit of heroes and martyrs are an important embodiment of the common historical memory of the Chinese nation and the core values of socialism, and the martyrs' memorial facilities are the main red front for commemorating heroic martyrs, inheriting red genes, and carrying out patriotic education.
Recently, in the course of handling the case by the cadres and police of the Second Procuratorial Department of the Shuangpai County Procuratorate, they passed by the Cai Jiayuan Martyrs' Cemetery and found that the engraved paint on the tombstones fell off, and there were phenomena in the tombstone area such as sand and stones placed haphazardly, dead branches and leaves that were not cleaned, weeds overgrown, and the roads were obscured by shrubs.
The tomb of the martyr Cai Jiayuan is located in the activity room of Dongheyuan Village, Daguping Township, Shuangpai County, near the 207 National Highway. The martyr Cai Jiayuan joined the army in September 2014 and served in the Development Zone Detachment of the Tianjin Public Security Fire Brigade. On August 12, 2015, when he was in the rescue and rescue of the dangerous chemical stacking fire of Ruihai Logistics of Tianjin Binhai New Area Port Group, he died of a sudden and violent explosion at the scene.
After discovering the problem, the Shuangpai County Procuratorate issued a procuratorial recommendation to the county Veterans Affairs Bureau that the martyrs' tombs were in urgent need of repair and maintenance. After receiving the procuratorial suggestions, the bureau attached great importance to it and quickly launched a special action to protect the tombs of martyrs, and adopted a series of measures for repair and maintenance. The gravel and weeds in the tombstone area have been comprehensively cleaned, and the paint depiction on the tombstone has been carried out, and the repair and maintenance effect is obvious.
At the same time, the Shuangpai County Procuratorate, in conjunction with the County Veterans Affairs Bureau, promptly visited other township areas within its jurisdiction to investigate in detail the protection of local red relics and found four other scattered martyrs' tombs, namely the tombs of Chen Jie and Zhang Nanxiong in Takipo Town, the tomb of Deng Ying in Majiang Town, and the tomb of the unknown Red Army martyr in Chalin Town. With the joint efforts of the county prosecutor's office and the county veterans affairs bureau, the problems have been solved, and the area around the mausoleum is clean and tidy, and the atmosphere is solemn.
In the next step, the Shuangpai County Procuratorate will establish a normalized coordination mechanism for the protection of heroic martyrs with the County Veterans Affairs Bureau, do a good job in the management and protection of martyrs' memorial facilities, carry out the publicity of the law on the protection of heroes and martyrs, form a social atmosphere of consciously protecting martyrs' memorial facilities, and defending the social atmosphere of respecting heroic martyrs.
