In order to resist the massacre policy of the Nationalist government, our Party launched the Nanchang Uprising on August 1, 1927, and officially embarked on the road of armed revolution.

Through the analysis of the situation between the enemy and ourselves, Chairman Mao finally decided to shift the strategic focus to the countryside and lead the troops up JinggangShan.
The Chairman called on our Party to establish revolutionary base areas in the countryside, to carry out the agrarian revolution, and to return to the peasants the land seized by the landlords and gentry.
Party organizations have been established in Ninggang, Yongxin, and Chaling on the border of Xianggan and Gansu, of which Luo Keshao is located in Chaling County.
