Bermuda blue-eyed grass belongs to the phylum angiosperm, a monocotyledonous plant. Iris family Iris genus. Native to The Bermuda in the Atlantic Ocean. It is a perennial herb growing 30 to 50 cm tall. The stem has wing-like wings , about 0.6 cm wide , and is equal in length to the stem. The flowers are 2 or 3 clusters, inverted ovate, bluish-purple, yellow at the base, and about 0.5 cm long. The capsule contains most of the seeds. Flowering period is from April to June.
