Gina Buliga quit her job to pursue her own photography. Gina Briga makes photography a family affair and captures the little but special moments she shares with her two daughters.
"I discovered my passion. Quitting my job and pursuing my hobbies was a wise choice. There's such a shot worth capturing, and I did it,"
At first, she wondered what she had to deal with, what was her central photographic theme? She found herself in her home, in the eyes of her two daughters hugging each other. The kids kept moving, running, jumping, playing like crazy.
Kids help photographers become a kid, kids are fit to do wonders...
The moment you photograph the kids, grasp it is a mystery, you feel the spark of inspiration, the beautiful moment, you feel it. Photography is the best way for me to express myself. I realized I could capture a fraction of the time, and I was going to stop the time. It's a kind of magic. Photographing children makes me happy and photography illuminates my life.
That's how I named two albums in my portfolio: "Moments" and "Moments like these" and then turned into the soul project's album: DAUGHTERS. Photography makes me happy and my daughters always satisfy me. It was all I needed and all I could want.
I love natural light, I love photography in natural light the most, I think the passion for photography never ends and I want to pass it on to my little girl.
When I have time, I like to look back at the photos. Sometimes I'm surprised to find news in my own photographs.
In terms of technology, the most important thing is to have a camera in hand at all times, and there will definitely be special moments worth preserving as eternity.
In 2009, I discovered my true passion, so I gave up my job, made a wise decision, and I began to pursue my hobby, my passion: photography. There were a lot of things that I took the opportunity and the challenge got me to where I am now.
In the beginning, I often wandered, with no purpose in my mind, just looking for something, and I found light and shadow. I've been lucky in my life to have two beautiful daughters, my model, my assistant, and everything about me.
I'm a happy person, I feel like I'm not looking for anything like this, I love everything that happens to me, I really enjoy photographing them, they give me a wonderful mood and they brighten my world brighter every day. These are unique moments that will never come back.
I love photographing kids and they have a fantastic energy!
Children are wonderful, people are wonderful if you know how to see them, if you really want to seek to understand them. But more importantly, there is something special about children, they are angels who give you everything unconditionally, and their love is certain
I'm excited to be able to convey through photography my daily life, what's happening around me. My lifestyle no longer has an end goal, but only guides my direction.
I never make plans for shooting. Let the photo thing happen in my life. I finally realized that this was what I wanted to do. Own it as a job, love your job, be passionate about it.
As I've always said: let the beauty you love be what you do.
When Gina Buliga had free time, she tried a lot of things with the kids. The photos with them are so magical and full of innocence.
About the photography project "Underwater Love". It's also a soul project that started in 2012 and Gina Buliga hopes it will last a long time.
In 2012, Gina Buliga's birthday, received a beautiful gift: an orange Nikon aw100 (which has been discontinued since the Nikon AW130 appeared), and she went into the water that day.
I want to look at the camera underwater. I photographed my hands and feet, the ladybugs came over me, we started playing, I shot the frames, I started getting used to the camera, and on this occasion I learned more patience.
In 2012, Gina Buliga unwittingly started the project, "Underwater Love" started playing, and we all came up with ideas about what to do, how to do it, what props to use, etc.
Summer is coming and we are preparing to race again and it is important to really feel it. :)
Gina Buliga, who was shooting with a Nikon camera, wanted to prepare to build a new "underwater love" studio.
We play a lot, creating magical surfaces by doing so. They were my assistants when I took pictures and helped me a lot and made my life better.
My daughters and I do all the photographic research we need, we learn from each other, we work together, wherever we are, bring magic.
They believe that the sun is always on our side and that it follows us wherever we go.
I am a very proud mother and proud to be an ambassador to Nikon romania.
