It is rooted in the Bannockburn area of Central Otago
Central Otago is the only region in New Zealand that has a concept similar to the Burgundy Grand Prix for vineyards, and Bannockburn is located in the heart of Central Otago, with the terroir of the appellation 'Grand Prix'. The Sky family was able to have such foresight when they first arrived in Central Otago, buying 48 hectares of vineyards in the Bannock-ben area in 1996, and now the total vineyard area of Bannockburn's prime location is only 325 hectares.
With the steady development of Shuangtenghua Winery, in recent years, it has purchased 72 hectares of vineyards in Felton Road, Lowburn, Kawarau and other regions, and the Double Vine Flower Winery with 120 hectares of high-quality vineyards is deservedly the largest family winery in central Otago.

Double Vine Flower – The Flower of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay
"Akarua" means "two vines" in Maori, and the "two vines" that belong to the double vine flower are Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. These two varieties were the first two grape varieties planted by Clifford Skeggs in 1996, and the facts confirm his original choice. Otago, New Zealand's only continental wine region, is one of new Zealand's best appellations for growing Pinot Noir.

The Edmund Rothschild Group is part of the Rothschild family's private asset management bank in Switzerland and is one of the oldest family banks in Europe. The Heritage project was laid out 10 years ago and integrates the Group's non-bank lifestyle assets, including investments in wine, hotels, restaurants and more.
The Lanyu Cultural Winery Design Institute learned that the group has 500 hectares of vineyards throughout Bordeaux (including Clark Castle), New Zealand, Argentina, Spain and South Africa. The acquisition will strengthen the vineyard assets of Edmund Rothschild Group in New Zealand, where it purchased 24 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc in Marburg 10 years ago to produce the Rimapere wine brand.
It was a long-term and long-running business plan, and Ariane de Rothschild, the Group's President, asked the team to find New Zealand's best terroir and join a Pinot Noir producer. Naturally, they set their sights on Central Otago, considered Pinot Noir's second home.
