In order to present the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, we specially launched the "Welcoming the 20th National Congress · Art Ode to Dang En" International Outstanding Artists Online Works Exhibition Activity. Wu Tuanliang, a native of Inner Mongolia, of the Dahuer ethnic group. Graduated from Heilongjiang Provincial Art School and graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is currently a member of the Chinese Painting Art Committee of the China Artists Association, a standing director of the Chinese Painting Society, a director of the China Gongbi Painting Society, a researcher of the Calligraphy and Painting Institute of the Central Research Museum of Literature and History, a researcher of the National Academy of Painting of China, the president of the Chinese Painting Society of Heilongjiang Province, the honorary chairman of the Heilongjiang Artists Association, a librarian of the Heilongjiang Provincial Museum of Culture and History, and a national first-class artist, enjoying the special allowance of the State Council.
Wu Tuanliang's paintings are mostly based on the northern grasslands, and he especially likes to paint horses. The wild beauty and highly alert state of life are connected with the gritty, deep, and strong character of the Mongols, and are integrated with the ethereal, broad, and quiet of the steppe. Wu Tuanliang poured out his emotions, using the horse as a symbol of the nation and the projection of a high spirit, trying to remove the animal attributes of the horse and integrate it into the spirituality of nature. Everything is so simple, frank, harmonious, full of majestic, magnificent masculinity. The atmosphere created seems a little tragic and desolate, but this is precisely the natural presentation of the unique grassland culture in his works. Desolate and powerful, tragic and exciting, it is precisely the personality characteristics that Wu Tuanliang has formed after long-term acceptance of the rendering of national culture and has formed a personality that is different from other people's works.
